Unfortunately for Mr. Dunn, she’ll probably file a lawsuit to contest the results of the election...even if she won.

Fortunately for Mr. Dunn, Taitz's track record as a lawyer ain't exactly sterling.

Orly will undoubtedly file suit thought I don't think Mr. Dunn has much to worry about. The words "Orly filed suit" tends not to inspire much fear in defendants.

I will admit that I am surprised she's doing as well as she seems to be so far. Then again, this is California, land of fruits and nuts.

Actually, she is nuttier than squirrel poop. How devoid of intelligence would one have to be to want this woman in public office?

My understanding of the California primary rules are that a voter without an official party affiliation can vote for whichever party they choose at the time they vote.

I’m hoping that her high numbers can be explained by cross voting mischief and uninformed voters.

From the League of Women Voters California website...

If you are unaffiliated with any party ("decline to state" or "independent"),

•You may request the ballot of the Democratic or Republican Party at the polls on June 8, 2010 or on your vote-by-mail ballot request form, or

•You will be given a nonpartisan ballot, containing only the names of all candidates for nonpartisan offices and measures to be voted upon at the primary election.
