Oh .. did it ever do my heart good to see him honored
and looking so well.

What a difference an administration makes.

I didn't see rats or flies anywhere in those pics.

Please say a prayer for my family. Tension is running high between my parents and it doesn’t seem like one can say anything without setting the other one off. Wayne and Dianne are their names and if you could say a prayer for them, I would appreciate it.

I hope I'm not violating posting protocol on this thread, but the stark contrast has me almost on the verge of tears.

Sure. Sounds like they both need a little perspective. I will pray for them to have more of that and things won’t look so bad. When that happens, people tend to be better “team mates.”

Not at all, once I give the clear photos that relate to the thread (and this is Sanity Island) can be posted.

Yeah what a difference.

There is another photo where President Bush helped the 89 year old King of Saudi Arabia walk by holding his hand, when he visited President Bush on his ranch in Crawford. Then there is the photo, where he held the elderly Senator Byrd's hand; who had just recovered from some illness, to help him walk.

It shows you President Bush has high class and has respect for elderly people. 0bama on the other hand is very low class and is very egoistic

jlyspio, I will add your family and you to my prayers. I pray God will bless your parents with patience and wisdom and I pray God will give you strength, courage and understanding during this difficult time.

What a great blog post. This was written by a woman whose grandmother actually taught President and Laura Bush when they were kids in Midland, TX and her father hosted a high school reunion for the people who graduated in 1964(including Laura). This took place over the weekend.

Excellent! Thank you, patty! I LOVE reading those kind of accounts of meetings with GWB. People always talk about how genuine he is, how engaging, etc.

I miss him so much.

Thanks again. Brought a smile to my face!
