The month of June in 2005 started out with President Bush welcoming President Thabo Mbeki of South Africa, to the Oval Office of the White House On June 1st, to President Bush discussing the G8 Summit progress in Africa on June 30th
The quote of the month is from the Address, President Bush gave at Fort Bragg, North Carolina on June 28, 2009 Link
I was watching President Bush during the 2004 RNC with a friend when he noted at the end when he saw Laura walking out to George that he would have run to her she was so beautfiful. I commented that I would have ran to George he was so handsome.
Either way definitely a beautiful couple. Hope they are enjoying their “private lives” but I hope they know how very much we miss them.
Sigh...
When our country had a “REAL” President.......
When leaders of other countries Respected our President....
When our Presidents Right Hand men were also leaders.....
When We the People were proud of our leadership......
When The United States felt secure as a nation under God....
When....................
2012.... When we will get all the above back!!!!....
Brings me back in time to when the adults were in charge. I miss Bush and I really miss Cheney.
It’s a good thing the govt. hasn’t found a way to tax dreams .................... yet.
We miss them so much, don't we? Actually, instead of time healing our missing them, it is only making it worse as our country is in such dire straights now. I think it must be hard for GWB--knowing what he knows and being the leader that he is---to stand by and watch BHO make a mess of everything.
I find it interesting that we seem to have new people popping into the Dose these days. I think it is a sign of the times...so many people miss GWB.
Thanks again for this labor of love!!
Well said bump!
Thanks Kaslin!
Oh I am sure they do
Very well said
I miss all four, President Bush, first Lady Laura, VP Dick Cheney, and his wife Lynne, plus Dr Rice and many more in the administration
You are very welcome
This is why Sarah Palin still has more executive and management experience than zero has. He’s letting his minion czars do their thing and zero waltzes in at the end and claims credit. If it does not work, zero blames either his worker bee or Republicans and GW Bush.
For proof we only have to read the latest Palin comment on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/notes/sarah-palin/less-talkin-more-kickin/397148258434
I remember well when Bush, Chenney, and Rummey won and it was indeed as though adults had finally arrived. Because they indeed did just that!
Thank you Kaslin for this breath of fresh air which is very sorely needed, a reminder of when we had a man, a grown-up, for our President, who kept us safe for 8 years. I know what a mirror image is but can’t think of what the diametrically opposite image would be. That’s who is occupying the White House today. The Emperor has no clothes. And more and more people are beginning to see that. Thank you, Lord. President Bush must be sick over our current state and what the future holds for our children and grandchildren!
Sorry about your computer but what a terrific recovery!! Thank you for all your hard work, as always.
I am sure too, that he must be sick over the current state of the economy and everything else
Do we ever see photos of the current occupant of the WH reaching out to a sea of hands to shake, or is he germaphobic?
Gee, Kaslin, your photos show guite a few ‘press availabilities’ of our favorite president. In this summary of June, it seems that he was with reporters in some fashion almost every day!
He didn’t rely on going one on one with a sympathetic TV ‘coach’ like Matt Lauer, to make public pronouncements.
THANK YOU for posting the June DOSE!
Just want you to know that I GREATLY appreciate your hard work and dedication . . . As Bill Cunningham would say, you’re a GREAT AMERICAN!!
You are very welcome, and so are you
