OK, come on now. I mean, really.
One picture cropped to remove a knife might be explained as incompetence or a simple mistake.
But now we have two pictures from the peace activists that were cropped by someone at Reuters to remove knives in the hands of the activists, as they attempted to take soldiers hostage.

Did Reuters learn this trick from the Chinese or was it the other way around? During the riots in Lhasa a couple of years ago the Chinese photoshopped out an entire person holding a large knife. Turns out he was a Chinese cop dressed up as a Tibetan peasant.

Based on the videos of the assault, instead of fast-lining down with paintball guns, the Israelis should have hosed that deck with miniguns from the chopper until nothing was moving -- then gone in with MP5s and Uzis blazing....
They should know by now that Israel will be blamed, vilified, and -- as shown here by Rooters -- lied about -- so they should put their own safety first. No more "nice guys"...
And, when these soldiers have recovered, they should put the dumb@$$ general who specified the paintball guns in a room with them and hand them crowbars, pipes -- and knives -- and tell them to mete out appropriate punishment.
