Taped from Caminada Bay in Grand Isle, La., on Friday, President Obama warned people in his weekly address to be “prepared for the worst,” even as everyone hopes that BP’s efforts “bring better news than we’ve received before.”
“Over the last few days, BP has placed a cap over the well, and it appears they’re making progress in trying to pump oil to the surface to keep it from leaking into the water,” Obama said in the address, taped from Caminada Bay in Grand Isle, La., on Friday. "But as has been the case since the beginning of this crisis, we are prepared for the worst, even as we hope that BP’s efforts bring better news than we’ve received before.”
The president said that regardless of the outcome of this latest attempt to stem the oil flow, there still will be some spillage until the relief wells are complete and there will continue to be a massive clean up ahead.

We live in Oklahoma, where there is the occasional tornado. I recall a very small one that singled out a neighbor’s trees for a take-down.
Within 15 minutes of the storm clearing out, the entire neighborhood was out in the person’s front yard cleaning up. A couple of guys brought their chain saws and somebody else organized teams of neighbors to pile up the cut limbs and stuff.
We made short work of that mess, working together as neighbors to help a neighbor. It’s The American Way.
By contrast, The Obama Way is to point fingers and demand the guilty party pay for the clean up, threatening them to get his way.

Yeah and what galled me was him calling off a military tradition fly by of a GOD AND COUNTRY festival.
Obama uses his communist democratic liberal ideals of separation of Church and State to hide his utter hate and disdain for Christianity.

Lessee heyah...He says “Manmade Catastrophe”, “...prepare for the worst”, and I had nuthin’ ta do wid it, it’s all British Petroleum’s fault that I went and played golf, and partied hearty.
I think that sums it up.
Who ever is at fault, it is a disaster for America. A good and proper president would have reacted immediately to protect her waters, or at least shown some concern. The gravity of the situation will destroy the recreation and the fishing industries down there, not to mention the wildlife. But instead this guy had concerts in the White House, played golf, went on vacation, shot hoops and hobnobbed with some famous sportsmen for a photo opportunity. It would seem he was unconcerned, if not gleeful with the help in pulling the nation down.
Lets hope this doesn’t turn out like the Obama Presidency.

It was a measure already in place to do with no permission that was some how stopped. Only Obama could have stopped it.
