Now that he’s involved with baseball we can expect him to win the Cy Young award. he can put that on the mantle with his Nobel award. He didn’t deserve that one either.

He might be right, but it’s not the WH’s place to chime in. That’s all I am saying. They may reverse it. Who knows but time will tell. And yes, the ump was incorrect, but the call is made in a split second and it is what it is. At the time he believed what he called was correct. Hindsight is always 20/20.

Yes, he wants to win the “Meddler in Chief” (MIC) award.
Next comes Father of the Year (FOTY) award.

I'm surprised no talk yet about this being investigated as a hate crime. White umpire and all.

Can we got a re-do of the ‘08 election, with another round of R primaries, too?

I don’t know. MLB is barely even a private enterprise anymore, with tax dollars being used to fund virtually every stadium these days. Obama should be more worried about other thingsâtrue, but I think the Detroit region appreciates good national attention for a change.

If baseball were still America’s Favorite Pastime, this might matter a little more, but it’s not, so it doesn’t.

A 57-foot president in a 60-foot 6-inch world.
The Senate judiciary committee needs to ask Kagan's opinion on it because it will end up before the Supreme Court.
Now if we could just get George Will to make a baseball metaphor to this... no, wait, can he make a baseball metaphor to a baseball game?
