I'm much more interested in seeing the Aruban LEOs and all the miscellaneous Aruban Touristry Spokespeople sent directly to Hell, do-not-pass-GO, for their enabling of this miserable punk psychopath.

I believe this magnifies their pain. They can feel no glee in being able to say, “See, we told you!” when another young life has been taken. Their hearts must be breaking for yet anther family that has to go through the nightmare that they have had to endure.
I also wonder why this psychopathic jerk had the freedom to travel the world without any surveillance, that's just criminal, to unleash a psychopath into the poker party capitols....

Flores, who was reportedly an out lesbian struggling with her sexuality, was found beaten and stabbed to death in a room at the Miraflores Hotel Tac in Lima booked in van der Sloot’s name, police said. The two were seen on surveillance video leaving a casino together. A hotel employee told police that Flores entered the hotel early Sunday morning with van der Sloot.
(If you ask me Flores looked to be kinda stocky (strong) - I bet she fought hard with Joran. I bet he is bruised and scratched up)
That's very interesting, because all the early reportage always mentions that she was found in a pool of her own blood.
I agree with you, I can't begin to imagine what angst they feel that tragedy has struck the Flores family in Peru via the psychopath they tried to have convicted for the murder of their own daughter. My heart goes out the family & friends of NH, what unbearable sorrow they must feel again.
The *lesbian* reference throws a wrench into the *date rape* speculations and leans more toward robbing her (and perhaps Natalee) of Casino winnings.

From everything I have read recently, JVDS may be a player in global organized crime, from poker/gambling/sex trade. He travels freely around the world - perhaps speaks several languages fluently. Has no visible means of support, except for his parents. At age 22 he is certainly an enigma and most likely a psychopath.
It will be interesting to learn if he was down on his “luck,” if he lost alot of money that night at poker, or recently on the gambling tables in the casinos.
I have no doubt he did it. But it's a stretch to assume he actually planned the murder this way.

I believe he made the mistake of his life, literally ending it. The victim was very well connected and the whole affair will not be swept under the rug.

I heard that the only crime which can receive the death penalty in Peru is for that of TREASON, and that in some certain cases where a policeman is murdered.
Elsewise, Peru does not have the death penalty.....
Interesting, and it might explain why he'd be able to establish her trust, enough to get her to come to his hotel room. I still don't believe that he planned to murder her, but that doesn't mean that I don't believe that he's a sadistic narcissistic psychopath.
It is curious that he allegedly had date rape pills with him --- makes you wonder if he's downright scared of girls. Seriously, how many guys HAVE to have an unconscious woman in order to become aroused????

The two brothers allegedly dropped Joran and Natalee at a local beach where he says they “made out” until the mystery man appeared in a boat at the water’s edge. Joran turned Natalee over to him in exchange for a bag with $9,800, indicating the man inexplicitly kept $200 or more back for himself. Van der Sloot said she made some sound and then the boat, the man, and the 18-year-old American girl were gone, with Natalee eventually being taken to Venezuela to become a sex slave. The story continues, though, that the mystery man has subsequently given van der Sloot another $10,000 as hush money, that the Kalpoe brothers knew about Natalee’s fate and each received $1,000 (of the original $10k) from Joran, and that Joran’s father, a local Aruban attorney, and at least two police officers also had guilty knowledge of Natalee’s fate. Joran goes on to say his father allegedly paid the two police officers $50,000 to keep the story to themselves, and offered, as proof, a tape recording on which he indicates he and his father discuss the case and the issue of human trafficking. This tape, of course, brought him money from the cable network.

Yep. So it would be better for him to kill himself now, leaving a confession.
But the impression one gets is that he will leave South America after buying a fake passport, and perhaps murdering more women. He’ll go to Africa or Asia, where female life is even cheaper.
