Seriously, I don't get it. I see so many anti-Israel and anti-Semitic posts on the internet. Why not love our only real ally in the middle east?

They don't hate Israel per se. They hate Jews.
I would disagree there and say that it's "both" ...
I say that because it's both the Jews -- and -- the "nation of Israel" -- that God says He will have "before Him" forevermore ...
Thus, to destroy "Israel" as a nation, is seen as a way to destroy the "promises of God" and thus, His "legitimacy" in the eyes of the world, in that He can't even keep His promises ...
BUT, God does say that Israel will be a "nation" before Him forevermore... and thus it's the "nation" and the "Jews" who are hated ...
The left hates Israel, just as it hates the US. The left hates successful capitalists and see them as the oppressors of the world. The left has joined forces with the Islamo-fascists under the premise that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. The Islamo-fascists are simply a convenient victim group, who are more than willing to fight against Western capitalists. Think about, the left doesn’t even have to do any community agitating to get the Muzzies to wage jihad, against the west and Israel.
