Good find!
Q4000 ROV 1 is lowering an interesting apparatus that looks like it fits on the choke or kill flanges they used for top kill.
I’m thinking they’re going to flow those during the Claw pinch to avoid a pressure spike in the BOP.
Enterprise ROV 2 is preparing the Fat Man LMRP cap. The one that fits over the flange.
I hope the crimp of the riser doesn’t flatten it out greater than the diameter of the flange.
Viking Poseidon ROV 1 is Fumbles trying to re-couple Claw to Mommy
Interesting bit of trivia —>

A German sub was sunk during WWII in the Gulf of Mexico and discovered by BP in 2001
That is sort of what I was hoping, but there was apparently a news brief somewhere that said they were aleady looking on to use the top hat. If so, that is clearly not good as the top hat will absolutely fail, not even a slight chance of working. That means they will have to go to the Second BoP method and only God knows if that will work. Now I am getting sort of suspicious as to why they are switching plans so quickly. Now it seems they could be just putting on a show until the relief wells come. But those are not guaranteed fixtures, putting all their marbles there is very bad.
Hopefully, either they will find some way to smooth it out instead, o rmaybe they will use the saw or something, or do somethign like work on the pumping and capturing method they did before so it gets enough of the oil out.
They are ? I thought the LMRP was already scrapped because there was no way the cut was going to be smooth enough, so they were going to the top hat plan. They seem to be changing their minds all over the place. Maybe they are under pressure to get it stopped fasted enough to appease the public who want it done instantly, so that is pressuring them to shift plans rapidly, which likely means they are not making the best possible decisions.

This is a quick accounting of what I saw from all ROV feeds, for what it’s worth:
Ocean Intervention III
Rov1 no picture
Rov2 something but i don’t know what. Haven’t seen that view before.
Viking Poseidon
Rov1 and Rov2 trying to plug into Mommy
Boa Deep C
Rov1 mostly nothing in frame, occasionally a bit of a pipe
Rov2 some machinery I haven’t seen before
Skandi
Rov1 Rov2 plume from top of BOP
Enterprise
Rov1 Rov2 LMRP cap? Big white pipe
Q4000
Rov1 a yellow electrical looking plug floating, could be what they want to plug into Mama?
Rov2 no picture
Here’s a link to that table of ROV live feeds I posted.
You can open this in a separate window and just make it small.

Chomp (the Craw) is on the move.
There are two LMRP caps. One requires a smooth round cut on the riser for sealing. The other seals to the flange below the riser. I call this one Fat Man.
He only needs clearance over the squished riser pipe to work.
Thank you for this useful table. :)
Yes, thank you!
EXCELLENT discovery!
Hey, ganag, check out this selectable-feed video stream page! Up to a dozen feeds; one from each of the two ROVs deployed from six different vessels.

Thanks for the update on fatman, after last nights cut problems I was stumped on how they could pull this out of the fire.
Why does the depth say 493 to about 520 or so on the claw camera? Is it times 10? Anyone have an answer?
Claw, Mommy and Fumbles are holding at approx. 500’
