Will a thunderstorm force the cancellation of Obama's Memorial Day speech at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois? C-SPAN just lost their signal as Obama took the stage amid thunderous lightning and pouring rain.

Thanks for the updates. There is no place for the crowd to go. They had to park miles away and get bused in. They were not allowed to bring umbrellas.

Why should he stay? If C Span lost the feed, nobody’s watching. So why should he stay?

After all, that’s why Obama does stuff on Decoration Day.

Thanks for the local update. I was watching C-SPAN as raindrops started splattering the camera lense. Then there was a crack of lightning and the boom of thunder. People started approaching Obama as he stood under a crowded canopy.

As the rain intensified tt appeared a quick decision was made for Obama to go stage. They gave him an umbrella and on he went. He got a few words out then C-SPAN lost the feed.
