At least 12 people were reported shot and three of those victims died from their injuries following separate shooting incidents throughout the city.
The shootings started Sunday afternoon and continued into Monday morning on the South, Southwest, West and North Sides.
A 27-year-old man who was shot in his chest at his home late Sunday night in the 6100 block of South Bishop Street was pronounced dead at 11:48 p.m. at Stroger Hospital, said Police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines. The man, identified as Laird Marble, was shot multiple times, according to a spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner's office.

Excellent gun control laws are, I believe, in place in Chicago.
So this story is impossible.

This has to be a made up story. They don’t allow people to own guns in Chicago.

Just another day in a “gun free zone”......

It’s a good thing Chicago is a gun free zone. Otherwise someone might get hurt.

I blame global warming. If it wasn't for the climate-change issue, then these yoots would have been indoors dissecting the Socratic method and how it permeates contemporary society. Once again, Al Gore and his legions of followers are justified. /sarc.

Surely its a typo and there were 12 incidents with bow and arrow?

Phoney Story!
Guns aren’t legal in Chicago!

But wait. All 0 has to do is get a bunch of people together and yell at them “Stop the shooting!”, and it’ll surely stop. Right?

More dead than on the Palestinian flotilla. Maybe European countries should withdraw their ambassadors to Chicago...
As the Greaseman once said, "Chicago is an old Indian word that means 'It sucks here.'"

Cmon man, you know that won't work. He has to apologize to them in order to bring peace.
