That is just sad. Drugs so ugly. Thanks for the link. Gee just awful. Tragic.
“Dana Platos son. wow did not hear that. When was this?”
Sad-
You might note that it didn't start out as anger. I started by saying, "No man is an island," but then continued that people were making an especially big deal about this person who died. He wasn't Winston Churchill. He was an entertainer who caught a break in the rush to political correctness now gone insane. When schmucks here start giving me a holier then thou attitude because I asked if anyone here felt more for him than for anyone other person who might have died, yes I did get angry. I didn't have to look up that Psalm either.
Tsadik katama yifrah ... (check it out if you know how)

Thanks for the link.. Sad tragic... drugs are just bad.
RIP
Well put. Hopefully we all have plenty of compassion to go around. In fact, hopefully we grow in that area. I know I need to have more and more.
He did add some "color" to that election year...
Am working very hard on that. Thank you. I find most FReepers to be some of the kindest people alive. :)
I had not heard that. My nephew committed suicide a couple of week ago. It is a most devastating thing. I do not understand it, but it changes those around you forever.
RIP, Gary. Prayers for his family.
I have to admit that Dakota Fanning seems to be doing well. The ones who are good parents are the ones you don’t hear about. You hear more about the child star than you do the parents is a good sign usually.
The Olson twins are the ones who seemed to be doing well, but have degenerated. I don’t think it’s the parents though, but the girls themselves. I personally think it’s from not having a disciplined upbringing.
A serious medical problem resulted in death.
Most deaths are immediately preceded by a serious medical problem.
Part of my childhood gone with his passing. RIP, Gary.
RIP Gary Coleman. Gave me a good laugh in “An American Carol.” Here’s his deleted scenes;

RIP, Gary. Prayers for his wife, Shannon. Prayers for his parents as well because they were unable to reconcile before his passing.

While I agree 42 is WAY too young, I’m actually surprised he didn’t pass on some time ago. He had at least two kidney transplants (the first at age 5), he required dialysis, and he had heart surgery last fall with complications of pneumonia. Death is still very sad for those left behind of course, no doubt about it, but at least he is at peace now and no longer suffering from the myriad of problems that plagued him through life...
His FIRST kidney transplant was at the age of five as well! Plus, he had heart surgery last fall which was complicated by pneumonia, and required dialysis. I would say he was blessed to be around as long as he was - especially given the several suicide attempts reported over the years. Still, I feel bad for his wife, and what had to be a horrible decision to make no matter the prognosis.
Thanks for posting that list. I was aware of several, but not all. Another to add to your list is Ronnie James Dio who passed last week, if I’m not mistaken on the date.
Add Ronnie James Dio to the front of your list, and you’d have the “three”.
It's just you -- and other people who prefer to see patterns where none exist.
I only met him once.
A bright little guy with a big heart.
God bless.
