Glenn Beck's departure from Fox News, Part 2 (Conjecture)
World Net Daily ^ | 5-28-10 | Robert Ringer

In Part 1 of this article, I expressed my concern that Glenn Beck might not be around for the long term at Fox News. As I watch him strip BHO and other members of Crime Inc. down to their dirty underwear every day at 5 p.m., I ponder what the Obamaviks will do to try to stop him from destroying their efforts to transform the U.S. into a collectivist paradise.

In that regard, I can envision four possibilities for Beck's exit:

BOR has burnt way too many bridges with conservatives. That's why he has to hope Beck will still give him the time of day so he remains semi- relevant.

I’m sorry to even bring this up, but why even post this speculative nonsense? It has no basis, in fact.

And for those who think O’Reilly is jealous of Beck, get a grip. They play off each other perfectly, and you can tell they thoroughly enjoy the routine.

Glenn’s not going anywhere. I’ll be seeing him Tues., and after my live appearance, I’ll tape a show with him on Franklin. You wouldn’t believe the size of his staff.

Glenn said the other day he had 15 million viewers. That’s astounding for a news show these days, isn’t it?

The only way Glenn beck would leave Fox is in a contract dispute and that ain't gonna happen.

Beck is a regular guy making more money than he could ever spend. so the need and greed for 'mo money' ain't there. So he ain't goin' no place, no how.

Under current 'federal laws' anyway (not sarcasm)

Especially when you consider the time slot. I time my work so that I can either watch him as I finish up or take a break, even if it means I am working a bit later.

Beck isn’t a news show, per se. It is a history class. I used to make time to catch Newt’s lectures on the old Learning Channel and I learned quite a lot, but Beck is covering a thread in American history/politics that has been made obscure over the past 40 years, or so.

My parents were both born around the time of WWI and, of course, came of age in the Depression and were young adults during FDR and WWII. I recall how many times they told us to not speak our minds in public, to be careful what we said, to not sign membership lists of political organizations, etc. As a War Baby with Boomer sibs, I usually ignored them and believed that, as Americans, we had freedom of speech and opinion. Of course, I learned differently, over time, but Beck is showing us why past generations were cautious.

Beck is taking the education aspect of community organizing to the masses. This time, it is aimed at the conservatives because we are the present enemies of the state. It is, IMO, too late to take Beck out. It would create a martyr. He has already opened eyes and minds.

I have seen you on his show before. Tell us your personal, in-person gut responses to the man, please.

Hey ‘Boots...

I’ve been listening to Beck since his very first radio show in Philly way back in 2001 (thereabouts). I have the good fortune of being able to have a radio next to my ear every day.

Glenn has gone through a lot of changes over the decade; I found his website while looking up the “Communist Goals 1963 in the Congressional Record” on the Web.

He’s gone from “I don’t have anything against guns, I just don’t need one” (early on) to now packing heat daily and becoming a HUGE 2nd Amendment guy.

He’s been a major Pain in the *ss of the admin, as much as Rush Limbaugh, maybe even more now that he’s on Fox with more exposure (wish Rush would get a Fox slot as well). His “Progressive Expose’” has been pretty devastating to them - and having David Horowitz involved (a former communist radical who knows them inside out) is a Godsend.

So, yes, absolutely God bless and protect Glenn Beck and all involved, indeed...

BOR lost me when he had a chance to take Race Pimp Al Sharpton apart on National TV sme years back, and he wound up being deferential and kind of ...whimpering...

I have no time for false conservatives who go “belly up” when face to face with the enemy.

As Ann Coulter said - you should take EVERY opportunity to get in a liberal’s face...and enjoy it. BOR failed the test, as far as I’m concerned.

I tried to watch O'Reilly the other day when he had Meghan Kelly on to discuss the Sestak bribe.

Jeez, he kept interrupting her to where she couldn't complete even a single thought. It was so distracting that I gave up!

Amen! O’Really is so totally clueless it is pathetic. I no long bother to watch his show.
His constant butt kissing of 0bama is sickening. He ‘wouldn’t call 0bama a socialist’. What a tool!

O’Reilly is a wimp when it comes to 0bama. He’s always giving 0bama “the benefit of the doubt”. Benefit of the doubt my rear end.

Except Beck promoted gold at 800 and now it is 1200. A Liberal can not understand that. Weiner is one.

Glenn Beck is America’s beacon of truth - a courageous and bona fide American patriot. If something were to happen to him, the Crime Inc. aspect of the Obama admin would be completely exposed and confirmed, and I believe all Hell would break loose in this country. God bless him and protect him.

I’ve only been on once-—I met Glenn for a grand total of about 5 minutes, as he arrived late, immediately did a run through at the teleprompter (a one-hour show, which he memorized in less than 5 minutes!). We started the show. Afterwards, I gave him 48LL and PHUSA, and he looked at PHUSA and said, “I know this book. Do I know this book??” It was clear he hadn’t read it. Then we left. Four days later, he called me and apologized, saying he always read guests’ books and hadn’t read PHUSA or 48, but DID over the subsequent weekend and absolutely loved them. That started a very nice relationship-—even if I’m not on, I discuss historical issues with his staff, and we check things for accuracy. He has extended me every courtesy and support possible, and I think when I go there Tues. we’ll have a much, much longer conversation.

You just hit on the whole problem with BOR. He's not a conservative. He thinks he can play both sides andleantowards us since mostly conservatives watch his pathetic show.

He's another Newt,McCain, thinks he can fool everyone.

I think Beck would promote his gold “sponsor” a any price since that is his job to promote his sponsors.
