Okay, who here remembers DITHF?

When I saw the title, I thought that's what the thread was about. I was just thinking about the whole DITHF episode a couple of days ago, lol

BCJohnson - I remember “Beece”. I still have the “Eagles Up” t-shirt he designed.

Sore Loserman was a hit all over the media, a great poke in the eye of the dems presidential run.

I have at least one of the SoreLoserman shirts.

Cool you have the Cheaties thingie, it's a classic!

The cpan coverage of the Post Inaugural Victory Brunch (Feb 2001) starts off with talking about FR and the "their parody of the Gore Liberman campaign sign"

We had a poster of the Cheaties sign on the wall as well as Sore Loserman posters

Isn’t meeting Freepers for the first time great! Total strangers meeting FRiends!

One time I met with a few NJ Freepers that I had never met before. We were going to talk about forming a NJ Chapter. I told my DH that I was off to meet some guys, at a local ?Holliday Inn? He said —”OK”
! LOLOL!

Hey, ladyjane! I remember Coyote! Always a great post and his shadowy outline of a running coyote.

Hi again. I see we're still at it. I suppose there are too many memories to recall for us "old timers". And, a lot of them have passed on. LadyX was the closest to me. We did get to meet in S.C. one time shortly before she passed away. I still hold her dear to my heart and I miss her. I was trying to recall the name of the boat owner. I think the boat was called the Mobius. We had many hours of silly fun on that boat. Sadly, I think that Freeper must have passed away also. One day he simply was not there any more.

What are you doing these days? I'm still working, but would love to quit. I'm getting tired, and I still want to write a couple of books. I hope this thread keeps going for awhile longer. I'm enjoying all the memories. Hugs.

To still remember a post from years ago and quote it verbatim, means that you have a good memory, and that the poster to you is an incredibly gifted and talented writer.

I highly recommend a review of the “Poopy Pool” thread from many years ago. It was the funniest piece of writing by the unsung geniuses who dwell and toil at FR. (it needed pictures, though.)

You don’t remember the endless complaints about pictures from people using 14.4k modems. And “start a new thread”.

I do. I remember how hard it was to load the long threads, especially on my WEB-TV. It took hours to read and respond! The worst was when someone attached music to a thread. OMG, Becky!

I highly recommend a review of the “Poopy Pool” thread from many years ago.

The Freeper Island, (or whatever title it had back then) was pretty damn funny too.

I wonder if FR’s first official “opus” by OWK is anywhere in the archives. I’ll check. That was a classic.
