looking for a good movie or documentary on the Hurtgen Forest battle
Hi back atcha!! I love this thread. Take away all those past years and it sure would have been dull. Best thing to have found FR, for all the reasons you can think of, but also for all the interesting contacts, too!
I’m fine. Still kicking. And kicking high — with this new knee! Because of it I was able to attend the Freep at the WH press dinner last month.
And how are you?
I want to add another name from the past who is sorely missed. YaYa123. What a great gal she was.
Hey there CAL! Love you gal! {{{{{hugs}}}}}
Or do I gotta wait ANOTHER ten years?
;)
Hey, you! Backatya, old friend.
Charles..
Sorry about teh threadjacking.
But many of us have.. uh.. memories of a certain poster.
Be glad you didn’t find a way to have moose biting sisters in there with cheese beebers and stuned Unnngh live mice.
A long time ago on a thread far far away there was a poster named Deep in the Hurtgen Forest.
He posed as a past/present military insider during the Clinton years.
Eventually he was caught out there.
Wish I had a link to his grandstanding opus, it was a classic if memory serves.
As for the Hurtgen offensive, there are online resources available, but try to stay away from Wikipedia.
You’ll likely read there about how Germany was defeated by Snoopy’s buddy Woodstock.
And I am the biggest A-Hole of the lot, by gum! :)
Hi CaL. Thanks for the clarification. Interesting times those.
Basil: I’ll happily pass along your hello next time I talk with her.
My best to you ladies and nice to ‘see’ you both again. 8D
Do not speak of Quidam. He’s dark and mysterious. His complexity is haunting and whipped creamy. He comes from the darkness and touches my soul...usually on a Thursday.
No, you’re Laz.
That’s more horrible than having a ballet godzilla knock on your front door to swirl a squirrel grenade into your home.
I see you haven’t changed... =]
You’re back! Great to see you!
As I live and breathe!! My old Beverly Hills shopping buddy!!
Poopsie!!! There’s a sale at Bullocks!!!
Nita is another one I miss around here.
TRIVIA:
Nita had a third screen name for a short time that I will not repeat here.
No problem. Great to see all of the old names, no?

Our very own favorite liberal. <
I though the official FR pet liberal was Murrymom :->
Holy crap! How are you???
CaL, check your FReepmail . . .
Nice to see you, gal.
I had one! So did Cal. Mine sat the box for 6 months till I learned how to set it up, then it was Drudge and on to FReeperland till morning with no turning back.
