How about taking some of the billions ALREADY PAID and pay for it...Government is out of control.

Didn’t BP just say they would foot the entire bill?
Never let a crisis go to waste.
Pay for cleanups? Did Obamassiah take his boot off BP’s throat?
Either way, and probably both ways at once, the end user pays.
No!
Any government tax becomes a perpetual sinecure for the political class. It is merely another excuse to extract funds from the little people. What exactly would the government do for a bunch of dead pelicans anyway?

"Obama admin exempted BP's Gulf drilling from environmental impact study "
"Obama sheltered BP's Deepwater Horizon rig from regulatory requirement"

"US allowed drilling 'without required permits"

The “us” government make the mafia look like choir boys.
looks to me like any work being done to clean-up this spill is being done by BP or Bobby Jindal. The Feds are just sending Lawyahs down to twiddle their thumbs.
What happened to BP paying all the bills? Did their campaign contributions to Barry0 pay off?
Yea, like that won’t be charged to the consumers. Perfect excuse for raising taxes eh? Hey Obama, how about you and all of congress work for free with no benefits FOREVER? Yea, that sounds good.
they better not.
Stupid, Stupid, Stupid!
That type of tax extends to everything manufactured because of transportation cost. Instand VAT.
I guess there should be no surprises here, they are Dems. They never saw a tax they did not like. And they cannot stand the the citizens to have freedom to choose what they want to do.
Sure. This "oil tax" to help "pay for the cleanup" is probably going to be used to bailout the UAW pension fund.
It's just easier to sell the new tax if we say it's (yuk, yuk) to "cleanup the oil".
