I can’t decide if the correct analogy is “fiddling while Rome burns”, or “Masque of the Red Death”....

So has Jindal had a daily opportunity to hammer on Obama about speeding up the help—but O hasn’t been bothered to deliver? I’m curious as to whether or how long these calls have been going on and how hard Jindal’s been pushing. Sounds like Barbour would have been involved if these calls really have been taking place, and in a position to speak out nationally, but he hasn’t, has he?

Obama is not going to be to hard on oil companies, it hurts the countries he loves the most.

I am even starting to here people on the left complain about the U.S. not helping BP get the oil turned off, and I would agree with them on this one. There will be plenty of time to point fingers later. But now - noooo make that weeks ago we should of been applying the full industrial might of the United States just 30 miles away from the leak to get it stopped. Instead our government announces commissions, and fly in helicopters over marshlands. None of which will get a single drop of oil turned off.

Can someone find how many parties Obama had in the White House since moving in?
To: nhwingut
Parties or Golfing, he is laser -like focused on fixing jobs, oil spills, health care, etc.

O'Biden just loves problems to milk and/or create.. and then milk..
Palin had to FORCE... BP to drill in Alaska.. must've pissed them off..
Then what... all of a sudden a drilling disaster in the Gulf..
Pretty convient I think..
BP doesnt want other States forcing them to DRILL...
You know... drilling on the leases they CONTROL so nobody ELSE can drill on them..
