Hopefully this trend continues into November. Rand just needs to keep the foot out of mouth.

Whoops!! There goes that media fed theory about how Kentucky is now in play because Rand Paul won.
To: MeSpikeLibs
Rand just needs to keep the foot out of mouth. Rand needs a good media coach.

"Rand just needs to keep the foot out of mouth."
Why do you say this? Has he had problems with foot in mouth disease during this campaign season or are you just saying this in general because he's inexperienced and possibly prone to this?

GREAT news!! Rand Paul up 25 points outta the gate.
Celebration may be in order; complacency is not.

I support Rand Paul, period. But he does need to be careful about what he says now that he’s the nominee. The MSM is out to trip him up, msnbc is already going after him on his opinions of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. All I’m saying is he needs to be twice as conscience as before about what he says. He has plenty of great things to say about smaller government, reigning in the federal deficit and promoting free market principles that will revive the economy and create good jobs. Go Rand Go!!!

That won’t last.
Rand will turn an otherwise guaranteed Senate seat for the Republicans into something we may or may not win.
The establishment candidate was the better choice here.
Anything connected with the “Paul” family should be avoided politically. Will we have some truthers in to compaign for him? How about some anti-war nuts?
What elements in the teaparty picked this guy to support anyway. Did Paulbots hijack things in Kentucky?
To: Titus Quinctius Cincinnatus
The liberal press will be hanging on every word from Paul. We have the worst liberal newspapers here in Louisville. He sure better watch his step. But the people of Kentucky are fed up with Washington, so it would have to be a really bad gaffe.

Well it hard to tell. The Libertarians all want to claim him but he is at odds with their position on Abortion, Border Control and the US Military

The Dems will spin anything less than a 10 point Rand victory as a blowout defeat for the Republican Party.
To: Longbow1969
Might actually work in his favor. People are fed up with the Establishment picks and the lawyerly habits of speaking a lot and saying nothing.
Now is the time for boldness in politics, not the usual equivocation and shadow dancing
