Hopefully this trend continues into November. Rand just needs to keep the foot out of mouth.
Bububububt I thought we had to elect Trey Grayson because Rand Paul would automatically lose the seat for us?!!??!
Whoops!! There goes that media fed theory about how Kentucky is now in play because Rand Paul won.
Go Rand Go!
Celebration may be in order; complacency is not.
Sarah Says: "I want YOU to help Rand Paul beat Jack Conway in November!"
“Kentucky Senate: Paul 59%, Conway 34%”
The Rand Paul haters around here are going to be deeply saddened
Is Rand a Libertarian like his Dad?
That won’t last.
Rand will turn an otherwise guaranteed Senate seat for the Republicans into something we may or may not win.
The establishment candidate was the better choice here.
Anything connected with the “Paul” family should be avoided politically. Will we have some truthers in to compaign for him? How about some anti-war nuts?
What elements in the teaparty picked this guy to support anyway. Did Paulbots hijack things in Kentucky?
I just read some disturbing numbers about the Ky Sen. primaries. The Dem candidates got 520,412 votes and the GOP only got 351,931.

The Dems will spin anything less than a 10 point Rand victory as a blowout defeat for the Republican Party.
“Can Rand Paul defeat Jack Conway?
Can Rand Paul win the general election? Paul easily won in a Republican primary in which voters were both very conservative and anti-establishment. Now he will enter a general election against an experienced opponent, state Attorney General Jack Conway, who won a close primary Tuesday and will be helped by national Democrats who view Paul as a potentially weak candidate.”

We’ll see if Rand can avoid “Macaca”-ing himself.
Isn’t amazing what happens when you really stand on principle, articulate those principles effectively, and don’t appologize for them. Rand Paul says what he wants to cut out of government, he doesn’t hide from his positions like they are a dirty secret. He is just a good candidate and he is speaking to the people from where they are not from Washington. Every Republican should be running against Washington and a government that is strangling America.
Expressing deep lack of confidence in Washington GOP leadership. As did the Democrats in Pennsylvania. Voter’s rebellion. Why? Methinks it’s the PACs that call the tune in Washington and they ain’t about the people’s business. Neither party wants to tackle jobs, immigration, budget.
I still have some reservations about Paul's (alleged)association with some of the more “wing-nut” fringes, but if he can keep his foot out of his mouth and stay on message he should do fine.
