FORT WALTON BEACH – An 18-year-old woman was arrested May 3 on charges of retail theft.
The Hooters waitress was found to have stolen two bras from Kohl’s on Beal Parkway, according to an Okaloosa County notice to appear.
The bras were valued at $60.

Well, I am not muzzie who wants to close down Hooters—they have a right to exist in free society if free market supports them. Nor do I want my daughter or myself to have to wear a burkha.
That said, I don’t particularly like Hooters concept—and think some of the Hooter-type threads and posted comments/pics are “tack-i-fying” FR—esp. this one—Who cares if a Hooters waitress stole a mere $60 worth of cheap bras—just my opinion, but then I am a woman with a daughter who I would not allow to work at Hooters.

I go to the Hooters near me because I know the young ladies from the gym I go to. One of them is getting her masters in Psychology.

As I said, it is a free country, and if free-market supports it, so be it, but I don’t have to.
I don’t deny a woman’s right to work there. Throughout the years, there have always been examples of women working their way thru college waitressing at many different types of restaurants and clubs. Some women have resorted to working as escorts and Bunnies at Playboy Clubs, and done exotic dancing, etc.. to pay for education or just to stay alive.
I would prefer my daughter seek other employment options to pay for her MS.
It is sort of like the premise: “I don’t agree with what you say but I support your right to say it.”

My main point is not whether you want to support Hooters and you have friends there who are there for noble reasons, nor is it that Muzzies trying to shut them down, my point is who cares about the fact that some moron Hooters waitress stole $60 worth of bras from Kohls? I bet they have a dozen shoplifters taking more in value every day. My point is that after a while, I think it makes FR look tacky and that there are a whole lot more important issues to deal with that a Hooters waitress shoplifter.

oh did not see this. Hope your friend is able to GET A JOB in her field when she finishes her Masters Degree!!! That is important to me as I have 2 in Grad school right now and one more working on a BS!

I am sure my 2 boys would find everything to like...that said, I don’t like the premis of Hooters—read my above posts—i support their right to exist and be supported by free market, I just want different priorities for my daughter....
btw, she is a college athelete and would not look out of place in your posted group pic.
