There are already a couple of LIVE THREADS covering the overall PA primary election. But I don't see anything out there for the Arkansas, Kentucky and Oregon folks so we are going to post our normal live thread focusing on the Key House Races. In this weeks Primary Elections we see 2 competitive House Races in AR and 9 in PA. Plus there is the Special Election in PA-12 that we have been following. There is nothing looking very competitive to us in OR or KY.
So if you are just interested in how things are going across the board in PA here are the ongoing PA LIVE THREADS"
Primary election gets a slow start (Pennsylvania Primary Thread)

He was snarlin something....Fox showed him but Greta was chatting, so....Haven’t seen Sestak
UGH. I can’t stand her either! Do you friends not realize she lives in VA and has no use for Arkansas?
Couldn't agree with you more. When Critz ads came on touting his supposedly pro-life, pro-gun views, I was wishing Burns would have returned fire with pics of Stupak, Blanche Lincoln and Nelson from Nebraska who all in the end voted the lib dem line on health care. Burns ran a crappy campaign in my honest opinion.
“Have fun tonight but I’m still keeping the champagne corked...”
Exactly. I’ve had the Cristal on ice since Reagan left office. It ought to be aged to perfection by Jan 2013!
Thank you. I so wanted to see his speech!!!
Here is what counts folks:
- Traitor/Turncoat Arlen Spector goes down to defeat.
- Rand Paul wipes out political hack Trey Grayson in Kentucky.
- Blanche Lincoln is damaged goods after June primary and, if she makes it through the primary she will go down to defeat big time in November.
So, if you take the GOP Brown win in MA, the GOP Gov. wins in Virginia, New Jersey, the Bennett Senate loss in Utah, the Spector loss tonight, the Paul win in Kentucky and the damaged goods of the Blanche Lincoln primary race, it says to any objective observer, if Barack Hussein Obama embraces you, you go down to defeat. Just remember, folks, no matter what the MSM spins, an Obama endorsement politically, is a kiss of political death. I have, on this very site, begged the Democrat Party to force Obama to resign or move to impeach him. Why? Because with each passing day he destroys the Democrat Party a bit more. face it, Dems, November, 2010 is going to be a blood bath for you. Yes, you passed his “Obamacare”. Has it gained you anything? Nope, zilch? How dumb can you be? The American voter has Obama’s number, and for you Democrat types, that ain’t good!!! Trends and Demographics are always quite revealing. Your wonder boy is a total failure!!!
I’d be a bit more optimistic if the numbers were closer. I know the ads were misleading but both parties put in huge sums of money, last I saw the money spent on both sides was just under a million.
Now we’ve got Critz as an incumbent for Burns to beat, it won’t be easy but I hope to heck you’re right.

You think it’s all about vengence? Not even close.
Specter had far too much control. One of the reasons the GOP is the way it is, is because of men and women like him. People without principle, lean left in politics and build enough seniority they control the leadership. If anyone wishes to advanace in leadership they have to “moderate” their views to appease the power makers already in control. The only way to change this cycle is to remove the power brokers. The leadership has got to go. If we were left with only freshman or sophomore conservatives after a bloodletting it would be a GOOD thing. They’d instantly become the senior members and they would in effect control the agenda even if “moderates” followed them into office here and there afterward.
I not only wanted him gone I want McConnell, Cornyn, Kyl, Ensign and the whole unprincipled bunch thrown out. It isn’ vengeance. I just don’t see improvement in the party until the leadership is headed by people like DeMint who aren’t corrupted as they value power more the principle.
I hear her former district is WAY under reporting. 10% vs 25-35 for the 3 other districts.
I was listening to a PA roundtable of state political types on local TV before the polls closed. One of them said 85% of special election winners in PA have gone on to win the next election.
And like you say, Gleason is dancing a jig knowing Critz will funnel insurance business his way.
Oh shoot! I so wanted to see his demise speech!!!
**Andrea Mitchell, MSNBC Hardball is widely watched in PA, widely watched across the country.**
Someone should probably Watch Andrea Mitchell, she’s apparently lost it.
Thank you! I sure hope the two have to go to a run-off that costs both a lot of money.
Why would they do that? To see how many she needs?
Me too! Drats!
Fox just called Arkansas for Blanche? How?
Good night. Thanks for being here and thanks for the photos!
Well, if it’s any consolation, the PA 12 is targeted for extinction in 2012. PA will lose a seat after the 2010 census and it has been reported that PA 12, as crazy as it is configured, would be the easiest one to incorporate into neighboring districts.
