You think it’s all about vengence? Not even close.
Specter had far too much control. One of the reasons the GOP is the way it is, is because of men and women like him. People without principle, lean left in politics and build enough seniority they control the leadership. If anyone wishes to advanace in leadership they have to “moderate” their views to appease the power makers already in control. The only way to change this cycle is to remove the power brokers. The leadership has got to go. If we were left with only freshman or sophomore conservatives after a bloodletting it would be a GOOD thing. They’d instantly become the senior members and they would in effect control the agenda even if “moderates” followed them into office here and there afterward.
I not only wanted him gone I want McConnell, Cornyn, Kyl, Ensign and the whole unprincipled bunch thrown out. It isn’ vengeance. I just don’t see improvement in the party until the leadership is headed by people like DeMint who aren’t corrupted as they value power more the principle.
Couldn’t agree with you more but the rest of the bunch - you missed McCain and Grahamnesty - didn’t turn his back on the party that gave him so much power and seniority...as I said, I get the sentiments of “good riddance” ...
BUT, if the dude who gets in is a crazy, incoherent, libtard, what does that get you?
And the idiots of PA could deliver him...(I know him from the Navy...)
So, go ahead and have fun...I’m taking a valium....
