American conservative political commentator Pat Buchanan wrote a column titled 'Are liberals anti-WASP' last week, in which he suggested that if Supreme Court justice nominee Elena Kagan is confirmed, there will be a disproportionately large number of Jews on the Supreme Court bench.
In his column for World Net Daily, Buchanan lamented the fact that since 1965, no Democratic president has nominated a black Supreme Court justice, but that "if Kagan is confirmed, Jews, who represent less than 2 percent of the U.S. population, will have 33 percent of the Supreme Court seats."

Pat has JDS. Pat’s motto: I blame them Joos for the sky being blue. He’s a kook.
I still can’t get over the fact that Pat’s grandfather died at Auschwitz. Fell out of a guard tower and broke his neck.
Yeah, and I think that your next brain surgeon should be an auto mechanic.
And he bears a lot of responsibility for giving us 8 years of Clinton after his speech at the 1992 Republican Convention.
Kudos. Best me by less than a minute.
LOL, it’s not an official Pat Buchanan thread until somebody posts that joke.
**Mark Levin.........what an outstanding justice he would be!**
YES ... however for the entertainment value, I’d like to see ANN Coulter named for the Court... I’d subscribe to PAY PER VIEW just to see those Confirmation HEARINGS.
it is odd we will now have a completely Jewish and Catholic court.
Imagine the howl if all justices were Southern Baptist or Texas Church of Christ...nirvana from my perspective..lol
it would be nice to once have a Jewish conservative on the court...they have all been libtards
Protestant Presidents have appointed the courts. True. But still my observation about the make up of the court ignoring Protestants is significant.
Not to mention the Court is currently representing about a 3 state region of America, the NE liberal corridor and Two University Law Schools. Most refreshing cross section of American values? NO. Totally biased? Potentially and blatantly yes.
Just sayin' some still view him as part of the conservative message.
Bibi Netanyahu: discuss.
I’m painfully aware of the difference, I’m a Conserative/Netanyahu common sense Jew!
that is pretty much the gist of his books..
you can't say he doesn't have a foot in truth...I know you are Jewish...but the problem I have is then what?.. blacks and almost every other minority of any kind are also in the enemy camp
ok..so we know the majority of Jews are liberal progressives who oppose my and Pat's side of the culture war...I got that. What can I do about it other than vote and support the side against them?
making Holocaust excuses or viewing Israel as the enemy sure doesn't do much for me....
even though I do run my life based on the rule rather than the exception I think Jewish conservatives like Mark Levin deserve a place at the table in our fight same as anyone...in fact they often have special insight
Pat sees a problem and then promptly walks off the reservation...always has.
First, any reasonably intelligent person should be able to do a reasonable job as a lawyer. Second, the law does not require a certain physical skill such as surgery. Third, I can understand every word of every law review article. Can any lawyer say that they can understand my mathematics papers? Or better yet, can they prove the theorems themselves?
Fourth, I would have a hell of a lot more sympathy for lawyers who argue that their profession is merely the application of arcane learning and tedious procedure if they didn’t run the whole damned government. Count the number of lawyers in Obama’s cabinet, in Congress. If you want to have mastery over the courts, then maybe you should make it a canon of ethics that any lawyer who takes elective office is committing a major breach of ethics (every law is more work for the legal profession). As a consequence: (1) Every lawyer is a lobbiest both nationally and statewide and subject to lobbying restrictions. (2) Any lawyer who takes elective office should be forced to surrender his law license permanently. (3) No person can get a position at a law school if having held elective office. (4) No law school requirements to take the bar exam. (5) The funds on which the courts operate should come exclusively from surtaxes on lawyers. It is time that lawyers stop getting rich on the backs of the taxpayers.
Finally, your post is proof of what I say about the corrupt protection racket. You’re arguing that, if one needs redress in court, one must hire a lawyer to protect one from lawyers in a case that will be adjudicated by a lawyer.
That, my friend, is the definition of a protection racket.
Actually, Felix Frankfurther wasn’t that bad, but that was 75 years ago.
One might even refer to them as "JINOs."
Doesn’t bother me..
Now THAT was funny!
LLS
you know...i forgot about him...i was thinking of Brandeis and so forth
Could taking percentages into account bring us back to supporting her because she's a woman?
Is Pat using "Jews" as a race or religion?
Am I a racist, bigot, both ...or neither...because I don't like Liberal Jews?
