Sad news. I just heard from her daughter that FReeper Bahbah passed away this morning from a ruptured aneurysm while making breakfast. Her family was with her when she passed and she was peaceful.
Rest in peace dear FRiend.
Prayers for her family and loved ones.
For sweet Bahbah...

Thank you for the pings.
I am in total shock! Bahbah gone??? She’s been an amazing FReeper over the years and will be so very missed!
Another beloved Snowflake to the arms of Jesus! Wonderful for her, but tears for those that loved her. Prayers for her family and loved ones.
Say “hi” to Tony for us, Bah.
Rest in Peace, Bahbah. Prayers of peace for your family.
Thank you. Actually, there were 5 of us kids, plus a couple of grandkids at that time. God has perfect timing though, even when we don’t.
Thank you! When I was younger, 53 seemed sooo old, but now that I’m sneaking up on it myself, I realize more and more, that yes, that WAS pretty young actually! (I’ll be 53 in 5 years from now, God willing.)
Prayers up for the family.
Thank you. My dad served in the Navy his whole adult life, until he got sick overseas (had a bunch of tattoos, got some in Italy that gave him hepatitis, wound up with kidney and liver disease), so he was either gone for months at a time, or in the hospital—as I kid I remember thinking that was ‘normal’, so me and my siblings never really got to know him—plus the illnesses made him pretty mean and abusive, so after all the sickness it was a relief for us kids—as an adult I wish I could have known both parents before they were my parents, if that makes any sense. There’s no relatives left on my dad’s side (except a long lost aunt somewhere) so there’s an emptiness on that side of my family when I try to do genealogy projects.
{{{{{HUGS}}}}} to ALL who have lost family members and friends ‘too soon’, God has perfect timing for calling His family home that doesn’t always coincide with our thoughts and plans. I take comfort in knowing that some day there will be an unbelievable family reunion for all of us! :*) ‘Til then, we need to keep the faith and keep fighting the good fight.
mware owned up to it earlier upthread.
(((hugs)))
Thank you. I am torn between loss and denial. Maybe not denial but I am not fully there yet.

This came to me a short while ago. One of the stories that I remember that interested Bahbah was one of Paul Potts. I can’t find the original link where we’d seen it but I did find this one:

Bahbah loved it and she told us how much she loved listening to and singing opera. If I recall correctly, she sang Nessun Dorma when this story came about.
Thanks for clarification.. I recall it used on the Dose but not on snowflake threads as much..
hope you are well ma’am
thanks for posting that here. I recall when Geee posted that, it brought a tear or two(of 50)...She is Gee here & Geee elsewhere!
