Sad news. I just heard from her daughter that FReeper Bahbah passed away this morning from a ruptured aneurysm while making breakfast. Her family was with her when she passed and she was peaceful.
Rest in peace dear FRiend.

Our dear, dear FRiend is at peace now. We are in shock from such an unexpected loss. I can’t imagine how her family is doing...I hope they know how many prayers are being sent their way..and how, in the odd way of the internet, we loved her.

OK, I gotcha mware, thanks for reminding us in re the etymology of thud. Even though she didn't actually start it here, and it was mware who got the ball rolling (or more accurately thud dropping?), I probably always associated it with her somehow because I think she was the first I'd noticed who was using it, sorta like I associate rdb3 with 'pretty nupe" even though I know he didn't invent that. ;-)

My deepest condolences to her family.....I think we all felt like we knew her....so sad.
Beautiful subject....I have several other of the FR cruise with Bah bah in them, and Jim has put me in touch with the girls so that they may have copies.

I know! She wrote me just last Friday night. I'm just devastated. We were all of like minds. And this thing with SoCalPol has just knocked the wind out of me. Remember when I taught Bah how to do HTML so she could post a patriotic GIF when Mark played Ray? This so depressing.
This is unexpected and sad news. It seems so hard to lose our beloved FRiends. I pray that her family will find comfort in the fact that she did not suffer, and in their loving memories.
After reading this news, I too, was taken aback, and struck with the “OH NO!” we all feel, when hearing news of this nature.
I then took the time to read each and every comment, and listened to every posted song, prior to making any comment of my own.
I was immediately struck by the love, respect, and yes, reverence, that has been bestowed upon this dear FRiend and her family as well as our FReeper family, and I smiled...and thought of Bahbah, smiling back at us...and what a wonderful tribute to both her and her family, this thread has become.
She will be missed greatly, but as for me.......each and every thought of this lovely woman, will also bring a smile.
Heaven is truly welcoming a precious gift, that was shared with us, and left us all too soon.....
