California Carly [Rick Santorum]
I am endorsing a fellow conservative who is running for the U.S. Senate in the hotly contested Republican primary race in California.
Carly Fiorina is a solid conservative who has solid pro-life values. She will support and defend Americans Second Amendment rights, and she has been outspoken in her opposition to the higher taxes and big-government policies championed by President Obama and his Democratic allies in Washington.
Carly Fiorina has earned significant conservative credibility through the endorsements of groups like the Susan B. Anthony List and the National Right to Life Committee. She has also earned support from such conservative figures as Oklahoma senators Tom Coburn and James Inhofe, Arizona senator Jon Kyl, and former Alaska governor Sarah Palin.
Equally as important as her bona fide conservatism is the fact that Carly Fiorina represents our partys best opportunity to beat liberal senator Barbara Boxer in a generation yes, it has been that long and replace her with a true fiscal and social conservative. Thats not an opportunity Republicans can afford to miss, and thats why Im pleased to endorse Carly Fiorina today.

I don’t blame you for distancing yourself from Mr. Santorum. If I posted this news I’d do the same thing.

Didn’t ol’ Rick also endorse and campaign for Arlen Spectre?
I do not think that he is the best judge of character.

Yeah.
During the 2008 election Santorum published a piece telling us how John McCain had spent the last decade blocking every bit of conservative, pro-life, pro-family legislation in the back rooms of the Senate, and then a couple weeks later he endorsed him.
Phooey!

That’s what happens when you are purely a political animal. You end up telling audiences with a straight face how valuable Arlen Specter is to the conservative cause.

Rick Santorum needs a dictionary, "conservative"? "earned"?
How about "ringer" and "negotiated"?

Or like McCain and
his ad telling us how he's going to close the border. Even he couldn't keep a straight face. They probably did a thousand takes and he still couldn't sell it, so the producer probably finally gave up and said "run it the way it is."

Didn’t a beloved Republican also endorse her? Seems I recall something like that.
Siding with Santorum is definitely rarefied territory.
That should make some people very proud, while making the rest of us wash our mouths out after tossing our cookies.

Sounds as if there’s polling data they have reflecting who’s most likely to win.
As has been posted before, this is CALIFORNIA we’re talking about here, and not the same California which elected Ronald Reagan.

Phooey!
So, the Primaries were over by that time, who was he supposed to endorse?
Your guy who won less than 1%?
Barack Obama?
Some other loser that wasn't going to win under any set of circumstances?
Even Ronald Reagan, circled the wagons after losing to Gerald Ford in the Primaries of 1976 and supported Gerald Ford, a very Moderate, or shall we say RINO.
So what should he have done in your vaunted wisdom?
To: Clyde5445
Bummer.
David Cameron is proof of where moderation gets ya.

He could have been honest, for starters. Tancredo endorsed McCain, but he didn’t pretend he was something he wasn’t.

I wish they would quit acting like democrats with their lies.
The American people deserve respect and the truth. Our truth is we don’t want this scum sucking bunch to represent us.
Carly is a fool and an idiot and should just go home.
