I haven't flown the flag since Commandante Zer0 was coronated, but I will fly it on Wednesday.

I fly the flag every day, but will make an extra effort this day.
By the way, how in hell can a person born on US soil be a US citizen if the child’s parents are here illegally? A topic for another thread, maybe . . .

Thanks for the post kristinn. I emailed it off to many on my email list.
What is incredible to me is the demand for respect by those people where absolutely none is offered by them as they heartily consume all the blessed gifts of Americanism that Americans worked so damned hard to achieve.
So many of the Mexican people have become citizens of the USA legally, and have been a part of those blessings achieved, so why in the Hell can’t those that scream for respect gain that respect as so many others of Mexican heritage have, legally.
Somewhere along the line something got screwed up.

That’s a great idea! I have a fresh flag and a new flagpole all ready to hang. I’ll make sure it’s up by Wednesday.
I’ll add more ‘flair’ to my apron at work...I have a pretty, sparkly American flag pin I can add. :)

How about next year on 5 May? Or would that be too, too much something or other?
Just what makes the 5th of May so doggoned important, and who decided that it is? It is not a Mexican “National Day,” not Mexican Independence Day, merely the anniversary of the defeat of some French invaders.
I don’t get it. But evidently that date does offer an opportunity for U. S. citizens who don’t really like our country to show their disdain by demostrating support for the alien invaders from Mexico.

...With all due respect to you that support this, I disagree. The American flag is to be raised on a standard. Wear red, white, and blue bunting to show your respect, not a flag on yer underwear to flash someone that might be burning a flag in public with disrespect...

Thanks for posting!
It will be very interesting to see if any participants in this endeavor are treated in a manner similar to how the students were treated. Will this ‘snowball’ because the country’s gotten to the point that promoting the flag represents controversy on ANY day, i.e., will wearing a flag pin to work or having one of those hand held flags at your desk, be considered UN-p.c. and will patriots be asked to remove?
