NUGENT: Profile or die
Washington Times ^ | May 7 2010 | Ted Nugent

Posted on 05/07/2010 8:26:18 PM PDT by NoLibZone

I profile my daughter's dates. I profile my children's friends.

I profile my band mates and employees.

I profile the fruit I am about to purchase.

I profile the sky in order to ascertain my potential need for rain gear. I profile the cleanliness of dining establishments and smiling all the way, I profile the general public as I pleasantly stroll the not-so-mean streets of America.

Conditional and environmental awareness is a powerful survival tool. Write that down.

Failing to profile based on one's life experiences is to abandon man's basic instinct to learn through trial and error. Such trials, when cataloged by intelligent people, reduce and oftentimes eliminate unnecessary future errors. This is good.

Oh, and by the way, one plus one still equals two, no matter how uncomfortable with the number two anyone may or may not be. Know it.

See if you can spot the Dalmatian.

Faisal Shahzad trained with terrorist bomb-makers in Pakistan, and married his way into naturalized American citizenship before parking his car bomb in Times Square.

El Sayyid Nosair worshipped under the blind Islam cleric for years before bombing the World Trade Center in 1993. He also married his way into America.

Ali Mohamed was a known top aide to Osama bin Laden before helping to blow up the U.S. embassies in Africa. He too used the marriage scam to enter the United States.

Khalid Abu al-Dahab trained to bomb the embassies. He married his way into U.S. citizenship.

It is time for America to get tough and intolerant to such clear and present dangers to America and Americans. Profile, act, secure. Feelings be damned. Americans be saved.

true and we have been profiling a long time with affirmative actions...think i read where a school took black kids only on a field trip to even the score with white kids.racial profiling again...
hispanics being able to raise the flag of another country just because of their race...profiling again...and the list goes on.

When I was in junior high, admittedly only from 1996-99, when we played football before class started, it was blacks vs. whites. And this in a NYC public school. Dunno how the faculty took it, but it was still pretty non-PC when I was a kid.

Doctors need to stop profiling.

No more sickle cell anemia tests for black children.

The Liberals have set up a profile for the Conservatives and tea party members, albeit, false, but they have profiled.

Sometimes paranoia pays.

I wouldn't call it paranoia but increased sensitivity. Ted understands what it means to be in total wilderness. So do I. I'm not a hunter but a bird surveyor, and I rely on all my senses to identify every winged thing that moves -- through the slightest sound or glimpse.

I appreciate and understand Ted's point completely. All humans have amazing powers of sensitivity that are seldom cultivated. But we shouldn't be afraid (through political correctness) to apply them.

Basic point: Trust your instincts. You'll live longer if you do.

"Sometimes paranoia pays."

To keep your eyes open is not paranoia. It is common sense. To keep your eyes closed is a good way to trip on something you didn't see.

Its sad that the libtards had to hang the racial tag on doing a profile. When you are looking for a terrorist it only makes sense to focus on Arabs. When you are looking for illegal aliens in Arizona, hispanics seem to be the ones you might look for. Libtards offer no solutions just crap. The Governor of Arizona would gain support if she amended the law to require that officials check 100% of folks they stop. However this won’t make em happy. Any group that starts with the premise that police are evil racist thugs, are looking to gain an advantage in the debate.

I guess the answer is to do what is right regardless of the feelings of libtards. Oh and it might be nice to vote these rat bastards out of office this November.

Everyone knows that. What do you want to do?

well its pc now with a lot of racial profiling going on by the other side. if they can profile anyway they want to then we should be able to profile to protect the country.

Thanks.

I'll be up your way soon doing some bird surveys. Can't wait to hit the Snake Range, Egan Range, and the magnificent Ruby Mountains.

If it wasn't so cold up there, I'd be a northern Nevadan too!

At 63, with the prospect of socialism in my future, and all that entails for us old folks, paranoia tends to run supreme.
