I think the principal would have a better case if he had banned ALL flag flying/wearing at the school. But for him to ban some flags and let other students wear others would make an interesting court case.
he wouldn’t ban the Mexican flag he even brought in Mexican dancers at lunch time
I can see the county lawyer for the county board now getting the sweats. This goes all the way to the Supreme Court and he’s way outside his abilities. Every kid can now ask why teach American history or English...and the school has to do a funny dance step to get their point across. I’d bring the five kids in....have a personal apology by the county board to each student...offer them Dallas Cowboy tickets...and promise to never put down the US flag ever again. Thats about the only way to get out of this mess fast.
