Osama bin Laden is in Washington, says Ahmadinejad

AFP - Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Wednesday denied recent press reports that Osama bin Laden is in Tehran and insisted that the Al-Qaeda leader is, in fact, in the US capital of Washington.
"Rest assured that he's in Washington. I think there's a high chance he's there," the Iranian leader told ABC television in an interview.
Without backing up the claim, the Iranian leader said he had "heard" that bin Laden was in the US capital.

Without backing up the claim, the Iranian leader said he had "heard" that bin Laden was in the US capital. I think that ImaNutJob has been reading too many "techno thrillers". He appears to be implying that the US actually captured Bin Laden, but we refuse to admit it.
In the past few years, I've read one that used Bin Laden's death as a plot device: i.e. he died long ago in an Afghani cave, but the CIA propagates the myth of his existence so that no one can ascend to take his place.
Another one puts Bin Laden in custody, albeit held in a friendly counties embassy so that he isn't actually on US soil (and subject to our laws).
