Black Group Blasts L.A. Mayor Villaraigosa for Supporting Arizona Boycott
Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Founder and President of BOND Action, blasted Los AngelesMayor Antonio Villariagosa and City Council members Ed Reyes and Janice Hahn for their motion introduced this past Tuesday calling on the city of Los Angeles to institute a boycott in response to the Arizona immigration law, SB1070.
Mayor Villaraigosa and City Council members should follow Arizonas lead and address the Los Angeles illegal immigration crisis which is greatly contributing to the cities financial decline, said Rev. Peterson bIllegal immigration is having a negative impact on Los Angeles residentsespecially black Americans, who are under siege and have to compete with illegals for basic health and education services.
A new study by Louisiana State University indicates that Hispanic immigration has caused black workers to be uprooted from low-skill labor markets, which in turn has increased crime in urban areas across the country. The study found that over the last two decades many illegals are moving back and forth across the U.S.-Mexico border less often. The large number of illegal aliens who remain in the U.S. have flooded manufacturing, construction, and agriculture industries, displacing blacks from these jobs.
Its apparent that Mayor Villaraigosa and at least seven of the council members care more about the plight of Hispanic illegal aliens in Arizona than they do about the residents of Los Angeles. We will oppose Villaraigosa and any City Council member who tries to get this motion to boycott passed, Rev. Peterson said.

That is SO “unliberal” to stay out of others’ business...
2 Thess 3:11-12
11We hear that some among you are idle. They are not busy; they are busybodies. 12Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the bread they eat.
Apparently you don’t know Jesse Lee Peterson or BOND if you lump them into some group of “self-important black leaders”.
Hey, Antonio!! Hey, Zeero!!
“I never thought Id see the day where one of these self-important black leaders actually stood up for somethign that actually might benefit the black community. I hope this isnt just the broken clock syndrome.”
Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson is very different from other black leaders. He is a conservative and a great guy. I heard him speak once and was very impressed.
Good morning...I moved...
LOL Mr. B And good point!
Would that this weren't so.
Rev. Peterson isn't the usual "self-important black leader." He is a strong conservative and is (unfortunately) treated like a pariah and a "race traitor" in the Black community.
perhaps the permanent underclass will snuff itself out in the struggle to achieve dominence at the gubmint teat?
I don't approach these things as economic but as moral issues. And unfortunately, what you call the "permanent underclass" has chosen to ally itself with every form of moral evil. If this were not the case, you and I might have wound up on different sides of the issue.
Considering the "permanent underclass"'s dedication to "a woman's right to choose," it's hard to believe they won't exterminate themselves eventually.
BTT!
I didn't know that.
Hello gasshog...lol
Love that picture! Thanks
Hi rebuildus, thanks for the bump. BUMP FOR LOS ANGELEANS!!!

Watch out LA. You buy atleast 20 percent of your power from AZ.
Excellent reply, thank you. I didn't really like the way he put his post and was trying to figure out how to respond when you nailed it.
