Florida GOP Auctions Crist Portrait on eBay After Political Breakup
Florida GOP officials took down an oil portrait of Gov. Charlie Crist just hours after the governor they helped elect dumped the Republican Party to announce he would run for the U.S. Senate as an independent, senior staff members told Fox News.
If breaking up is hard to do, the Florida GOP isn't showing any signs.
Florida GOP officials took down an oil portrait of Gov. Charlie Crist just hours after the governor they helped elect dumped the Republican Party to announce he would run for the U.S. Senate as an independent, senior staff members told Fox News.
State party officials, who have removed any likeness of Crist, are auctioning the portrait they purchased for its headquarters in Tallahassee on eBay. Party officials say they paid $7,500 for the Crist portrait and another painting.
Officials also removed his signatures from all party materials.

Is this another ‘good bye to bad trash’? RINO escaping!
I bid a dead Skunk in the middle of the road.
This is his due for his support of incompetent Obama and Obama’s stimulus(porkulus bill)
Here is the description:
“Have you ever taken over a non-profit organization only to be left with huge AMEX bills and ugly portraits of the folks that looted the place? Well, we’ve got some debt to pay down and unwanted “art”.
Scott Rothstein commissioned this beautiful, GIMP crafted, artist signed, original portrait of Florida Governor and US Senate hopeful Charlie Crist. This classic work captures the essence of Crist and will complete your portrait collection of political heroes like Larry Craig, Jim McGreevey, Mark Foley, and Bob Allen!”
Did they affix it to a giant dartboard? That might bring in some cash.
Maybe you’d prefer to bid on this:
LOL! That said, I think Spiteful Charlie’s going to hand Florida to the Dems.
7.5 G’s
Geeze. What a waste. I bet they’ll be lucky to get $75 for it.
All over Twitter they are saying he is gay. I asked a friend from Boca and she said that came out in 2008. If it is true I feel bad for his family. If not true, I feel bad for his family. Someone thinks being gay will get him out the running and I do not think it will.
Unless it’s a very conservative district. Like our cap and trade, immigration RINO.
I tweeted being gay will not take votes away but political actions will. Maybe they will use it as a excuse when they lose?

It depends. Maybe it has a nice frame.
They should auction off chances to pi$$ on it
Did Meg Whitman purchase it? Is this a new way to funnel money?
Why auction it? Just burn the thing and put it out of existence once and for all. They’d raise more by auctioning off matches.
It’s up to $660
Maybe Mark Rubio wants it to hang in his bathroom.
