CASA GRANDE - A Pinal County sheriff's deputy is hanging for dear life after he's shot by a group of suspected illegal immigrants Friday.
It happened during a traffic stop on the I-8 west of Casa Grande. The deputy stopped a vehicle containing a group of suspected illegal immigrants when he was shot.
He radioed in to report he was shot with an AK-47. His injuries are life-threatening, but authorities have not been able to find him.

Here in minnesota there are a series of appt buldns I live in one ..
Last summer a van containing 4 mexican..males pulled up in front of bld.#410..2 got out and went into the bld...harrassed residents in 2 appts..2 ran arround the back ..and down the bike path...
All were carrying ar-m16 type rifles...
All had side arms on..
All had body armor on...
None gave I.D..
None had Identification on
Ive lived here 4 yrs..
I know some good mexican people here..with families...
They work...
The police say they had no idea who those guys were.
They thought they might be bounty hunters..
They posted an officer for a week”in case they came back”.

Actually, Arizona didn’t even exist in 1848, but that’s beside the point, because as noted most of New Mexico’s population lived in the Rio Grande Valley and in California along the coast. Arizona was mainly Navajos, Pimas, Apaches, Yaqui etc.
