I’ve been reading and listening the last 24 about carbon exchange theory. So far, I believe that this is overwhelmingly about mega-money for the powerful few. The Cantwell-Collins bill removes any participation by the market in terms of trading emissions. It could be a step in the right direction for those believing in reducing emissions. I doubt it will get much traction competing with Senator Kerry’s C&T bill.

Also, folks should note that while Glenn has broadcast this scam to a wider audience, all of his points were raised by freelance writer Deborah Corey Barnes in October 2007. Please read her excellent article, “The Money and Connections Behind Al Gore’s Carbon Crusade” here:

I sincerely believe that Glenn is in need of constant prayers at this time. Did any of you hear what he said on his program yesterday? It leaves me no doubt that he is poking the Devil right in the eye these devils are very angry. Obama would love to have him knocked off and it was clear to me that he is receiving some very serious threats. Those of us who are praying for him in agreement however, and according to Scripture, will prevail in securing his protection. “No weapon formed against Glenn Beck, will prevail” Amen? I think Beck does a fine job of pointing us in the right direction and letting us discover things on our own. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of what we find shows up on his show.
