These same folks who are criticizing Rubio are the same ones still praising Sarah Palin. Yet, Palin is the one supporting McCain who is very pro illegal immigration.

Just from what I have seen the police in Arizona can arrest you if you don’t have proper identification.

The cops in Arizona need to be careful how they enforce this or it’s going to start a war they can’t win.
As I understand this law it will get rid of the illegals on the street much the same as prostitutes or drug dealers. Problem?

Here’s the problem. There are lots of us that are native to this country that are going to be treated as foreigners in our own land. I know...I’ve had it happen to me.
How many people on this forum have actually been harassed by border patrol? How many have you been asked if you are citizen at the airport by undercover agents?
How many of you carry proof that you are citizen with you at all times?
This is going to be ripe for abuse if Arizona doesn’t watch it. I have family in Arizona, and I can promise you this...if some snot nose punk cop asks me for ID...I’m going to put my foot in his ass.
Literally, areas of our cities are lined with illegals waiting for someone to pick them up for day labor. There will be 15 here, 25 there, 12 in this parking lot, 5 in that parking lot...

The problem is the drain. Arizona is broke and Washington could care less why. I am fortunate to have papers. The alien problem must be addressed and this will do it.

You seem to be missing the point and that is they the police cannot understand CANNOT just come up to you and ask for your immigration status based on race etc.
If Republicans show up in huge numbers for Rubio, he will win. The Democrats vote will be split. The blacks will vote for the black Democrat not Crist. They will feel insulted if told to do otherwise.
The smartest thing for him to do would just be to say he believes in greater enforcement, but he wasn’t in Arizona and wasn’t sure how the law would be enforced.
Thus, he basically would just defer to them instead of opening his big mouth.
Yes, Crist picks up all the yellow dog democrats who won’t vote for Meek.
