You aren't the only one. I am a California native and I've been thinking about leaving for the last year. I'm giving one more election cycle to see if we can start turning this around, but I'm getting really sick of this.
Texas sucks. But Washington , Oregon ,Arizona , Idaho , and a bunch of other states are great. I even saw on television that Michigan is good for business opportunity. Oh, and of course the commercial for this really cool place called " California" looked good.
Over here in the east, we call it “white flight” even though it isn’t a matter of color. When the criminal and moocher trash are given govt incentive to move in, the productive law-abiding people start leaving.
Large-scale flight from an entire state, leaving it to the trash...if it comes to that, the country’s in mortal peril.
You might as well leave. You need to deprive them of your tax dollars. Consider it a temporary exile, like leaving Cuba. OK, well maybe that’s not such a great example.
MrR and I left CA last year and it was overdue then. We were both born here and loved the state but we no longer recognize it and after almost 20 years of conservative activism in the hopes of turning CA around, we finally just cut our losses and moved out of the Social State of California.
