Al Sharpton: We’re Ready to Commit Civil Disobedience Over Arizona Immigration Bill

70% of Arizona voters agree with new immigration legislation signed into law on Friday. But, not Al Franken or Barack Obama. And, New York City’s Al Franken says he’s ready to organize protests and commit civil disobedience over the new Arizona immigration law. The New York Post reported, via Free Republic:

The Rev. Al Sharpton says he will challenge Arizona’s new immigration bill in court and on the streets.

Sharpton is joining Lillian Rodriguez Lopez from the Hispanic Federation to announce a legal challenge to the bill. They say activists are also prepared to commit civil disobedience to fight the Arizona immigration bill.

I was in Phoenix last Friday when this took place, and I only heard about it becaus of FR! It was not on the local news or national news.

At the YouTube link I posted above, there was a liberal who posted the following:

"...There are over 1,000,000 illegal AMERICANS living in Mexico. Yep, it is a FACT. They are taking 1 million jobs away from Mexicans, applying for aid, buying and running illegal businesses in Mexico for profit. Maybe they should be kicked out and forced to return to America so we could have 1million more on the unemployment lines????"

First, I don't belive this crap, but if this is true, that means there are over 1,000,000 "Americans" who are paying money to SOMEONE to stay where they are and stay out of trouble. If they have open graft and bribes down there, that is their issue, not ours. I know for a fact if you are an illegal in Mexico, you can be in a world of trouble.

Normally, I never even read the comments on YouTube because I think a prerequisite to post a comment is to have your brain sucked out and replaced with dog feces.

The thing I find most disturbing about liberals is that they unflinchingly believe their own propaganda, even in the face of hard, cold facts.

It was on Drudge’s headline for a little while—when I first heard/saw a news vid of this, the estimate was about 150 or so ‘protesters’—by the time it got to Drudge it was up to 1500.

1500 out of how many illegals in AZ, almost half a million? Hmmm. And now HolyO and Sharpton are shipping in Union members, etc. to protest.
