70% of Arizona voters agree with new immigration legislation signed into law on Friday. But, not Al Franken or Barack Obama. And, New York Citys Al Franken says hes ready to organize protests and commit civil disobedience over the new Arizona immigration law. The New York Post reported, via Free Republic:
The Rev. Al Sharpton says he will challenge Arizonas new immigration bill in court and on the streets.
Sharpton is joining Lillian Rodriguez Lopez from the Hispanic Federation to announce a legal challenge to the bill. They say activists are also prepared to commit civil disobedience to fight the Arizona immigration bill.

I think the law takes effect in August.
But you’re right, the MSM is trying to spin it as “bill” when it’s really now a law.
Like I’ve said before, if the left thinks it’s such a good idea to adopt other nations laws as our own because they’re so much superior to ours, I say we start here.
Franken - Sharpton
Same guy, different sun tan oil.
I’m starting to distrust even Hannity. I’ve always been a fan up until last week and usually listen to him.
Last week, while talking about how government is out of control and not even concerned about fiscal responsibility, much less balancing the budget, a black male caller asked “Who or when have they ever been concerned?”. A perfect time for Sean to remind him of the Rep Party, led by Newt, and their Contract With America, which forced BJ Clinton to balance the budget (kicking and screaming all the way). I was silemtly yelling at Hannity to say “something” but he didn’t. He did what all the morons that are supposed to be conservatives and “on our side” do and have done. He said zip, zilch and nada.
Trust is fast becoming a very rare commodity these days. At least as far as I’m concerned.
Sharpton and his thugs, Arizona patriots and citizens, and illegals, sounds like trouble to me. CWII starts in AZ?
I agree. Hannity changed, I don’t watch him anymore, haven’t for months.
JD HAYWORTH doing battle with race hustler Sharpton and Whorealdo on Geraldo’s pathetic show right now.
...the ankle biting chihuahua with a bad hairpiece who longs to earn his stripes as a rottweiler, but only serves as a political football. How sad!
In WWII, there was a riot in Phoenix. Blacks in South Phoenix were protesting because they thought proportionally more blacks were being drafted than whites.
But this was FDR’s America. And Arizona had a Democrat governor.
This meant that the AZ National Guard showed up with water cooled Browning .30 cal machine guns on trucks. They proceeded to hose the asphalt in front of the crowd with these machine guns, which blew high speed chunks of asphalt at them.
This was covered by a reporter of the Phoenix Gazette, who lost the heel of his shoe to a ricochet while darting into an alley. His report was summarized as a “Downtown Disturbance”, one paragraph, published “in the truss ads” in the rear of the paper.
He didn’t write about the event in earnest until he retired in the 1960s.
Just saying. We Arizonans don’t rightly care for rioters.
Sharpton's call for civil disobedience on the Arizona border's integrity issue is subversive to the safety of the American people. A proper response could be a call for secession. That way Sharpton and his crew could be declared persona non grata in Arizona.
The New Three Stooges - Al Sharpton, Al Gore, and Al Franken! I love it!
Amnesty for these....individuals....will likely render *him* irrelevant.
Al will go anywhere anytime he can trash ‘whitey’. Even if it means screwing his ‘bruthas’ over...
Job hunting is the least issue. Racial preferences are the primary issue. The hoards of new immigrants will be take their place in the racial preference line pushing the current group to the back of the bus.
Peaceful?
Obviously he does not know about south american protests.
Arizona is looking better as a location for retirement all the time..:o)
