Poor misguided Governor.

“Will this turn Hispanics against them for generations, and therefore decimate their electoral viability in the future? Or is that a Democrat talking point. Honest answers only, please.”
Hispanics, especially new ‘immigrants’ vote democrat. McCain did everything but give them your home and they still wouldn’t vote for him. They’re mad at Obama at the moment because he isn’t doing enough fast enough to suit them.
#21 — yes indeedy! My thought exactly! lol
Me thinks voting Hispanics are working legalized people.
The illegals while technically cannot vote, if they do would go Dim anyway.
SWEET!
Let the games begin.
May Day is right around the corner.
The Commies will do back flips and have caniption fits. I love good news. Now if only Floriduh.
I wonder if Bammy will try and drive a bus to the Arizona capital?
Great news!
What was Miss Palins position on this?
In my opinion she was very firm and supportive, no-nonsense.
She dwelled a little too much on the “civil rights” and “diversity” and how we have to be so careful, and how LE is getting special training, blah-blah, BUT she is correct that if there is one incident, the “headlines” will be all over it.
Meanwhile, there are hundreds of truant alien brats and anchor babies tying up downtown Tucson traffic today and waving their Mexican flag.
Focused on the “controversial” legislation,...
“Wow. One wonders if this will seal the long-term fate of the Arizona GOP?? Will this turn Hispanics against them for generations, and therefore decimate their electoral viability in the future? Or is that a Democrat talking point. Honest answers only, please.”
The explosion of the hispanic population is a real problem for the party in the long term. Near term it isn’t an issue but all you have to do to see the threat is to go to an elementary school in many parts of the US. Near me in North Carolina its shocking to see the percentage of young children in schools who are hispanic. Their parents may not be legal but many of them are and it won’t be that long before they are voting and having 500 children of their own. We all know that, as things stand now, they will lean towards the party that promises them the most freebies.
OMG!!!!! This has made my day!!!!!!!!!
Please, please, please, Lord let Rick Perry do this same thing....please please...in Jesus Name....
She rocks!!!

NUEVO LAREDO, Mexico (Reuters) - Illegal immigrants from Latin America are heading deeper into the United States to find work and avoid deportation as crackdowns in border states like Texas and Arizona make life more difficult for them.

Governor T-Paw has not commented on this that I know of.
She’s a Facebook friend, and posts a lot. I’ll thank her on her profile page.
Good job AZ!
Way to go Arizona!!
To be more specific, the GOP is not going to lose any Hispanic voters from this law; the law has been shown to poll well among LEGAL Hispanic immigrants. The only harm I see potentially coming to AZ GOP is from GOP supporters who are unwilling to respond to false cries of racism, or who want to impress more liberal/moderate friends with an ‘open-minded’ condemnation of the law.
“Respect for the rule of law means respect for every law,” said Brewer, a Republican. “People across America are watching Arizona.
“We in Arizona have been more than patient waiting for Washington to act,” Brewer added. “But decades of inaction and misguided policy have created a dangerous and unacceptable situation.”
Brewer’s decision came just hours after President Obama called the proposal “misguided.”
