In a news conference broadcast on Phoenix radio station KFYI, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer announced that she has signed Senate Bill 1070 into law. She signed it live on the air.

BTW, my husband lived in one of those "hot" tents and slept on a cot for a year during his Vietnam service days. He was grateful to have a cover over his head..no matter how ungodly hot and humid it became.
But my husband and the rest of the troops over there were SERVING our country. Not taking from it.

And AZ takes their budgeting seriously we do not spend more money then we have in the state general fund then we have in revenue.

Interesting that Brett Baer had a Special Report preview on during Beck at the bottom of hour—nd whoever he was interviewing said it will hurt AZ GOP and Gov. state budget. I found their take strange....did anyone see it?

State Senator Russell Pearce, the bill’s author, is speaking now. The bill doesn’t allow an officer to stop anyone he couldn’t stop before. People will come to Arizona even more than before now, because it will be safer. Crime will drop. Our citizens have a constitutional right to see this bill enforced. Sanctuary policies are illegal under federal law and this bill enforces that. Every time there’s an anti-illegal bill out for a vote, 60% of Arizona’s legal Hispanics vote for it. It’s demeaning to them to have people think they support illegal aliens. Employer sanctions bill earlier had five lawsuits and the state won every one.
I am calling for a Boycott of all Illegal Immigrants of Arizona. Bye bye.
