What’s worse, there is another volcano that Islandic authorities feel is attached to the one that is erupting now, and is very likely to erupt itself over the next few weeks. It has happened before, and could easily happen again.
Lots of Geo-physical and tectonic activity going on around the globe...
By the way, if that glacier is melting should we be prepared for the hennie-pennies of the world to start shouting hysterically about the rising oceans...??

No, not enough ice there.
I expect to begin hearing the effect these ash clouds will have on the worldwide temperature and its effect on crops...and, the resultant food shortages, etc.
If one of the sister volcanoes starts erupting, food shortages would almost be assured.
A place called “Iceland” should have a lot of ice. My recollection is that Greenland has lots of ice, and Iceland is more green. Just one of those strange things.
Now if all the ice in Greenland melted, I think we would see some dramatic changes. But Iceland is not nearly as icy as Greenland, so I would not expect a measurable change in sea levels.
