I expect to begin hearing the effect these ash clouds will have on the worldwide temperature and its effect on crops...and, the resultant food shortages, etc.

If one of the sister volcanoes starts erupting, food shortages would almost be assured.

Guess they better increase the water supply to California’s central valley. These farms will be needed to feed the world. Craziness keeping them from cultivating the land.
