WHEN JANINE Giandomenico's son explained his school project to her, she dismissed his worries and figured she'd have to fork out a few bucks for poster board, magazines and a glue stick or two.
Then she read the letter that accompanied the project, over and over again, and believes that her son's third-grade teacher at the Maude Wilkins Elementary School in Maple Shade, Burlington County, was asking the class, including the boys, to dress as women during a fashion show for a Women's History Month pro-ject.

The real issue here is, why the he!! is a school having students and teachers wasting school time on ANY sort of fashion show? This kind of thing may be appropriate as a school-based extracurricular activity for children who want to do something like this (and I’m guessing very few boys would show up for an activity that involved dressing up in women’s clothes), or for a church group, etc. But fashion shows of any sort have no place in a school’s classroom activities.
I agree.
Giandomenico, a self-described "libertarian," said she had tried to contact her son's teacher about the issue, and claims her concerns were brushed off....
"The school doesn't get it," she said. "I'm not a right-winger. I'm not a radical, but I believe in the Constitution and I believe in my parental rights."
The timing of the fashion show coincided with the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network's "Day of Silence," Giandomenico said, and she felt it was no coincidence. She said that she's open to "alternative lifestyles" and has male friends who dress as women,
Oh good grief... there's never gonna be a way to make this whacknut "libertarian" woman happy. If her little "boy" actually wanted to wear a dress, she'd be suing the school district for making him wear pants.
When I was 12 and a Boy Scout, my troop had “Bathing Beauty Night.” We all had to dress-up in one of our mothers’ bathing suits, and, with grapefruit in the bras, trooped out on state in front of all the parents, who voted for “Most Beautiful.” It was plainly innocent then but those days are long gone...
I also think that it stems form a parents who maybe is a mother not getting a clue how to raise a boy or is ignorant to the world and her son’s future .
If a boy starts asking about should he wear nail polish then that is when the mother needs to sit him down and explain he’s a boy and boys do not do that instead we have clueless perverted parents , usually one parent as the other one left not explaining what and how a boy is. Instead they tell the boy that it is OK and you be your own person, well that’s fine but being your own person is not pretending to be the other sex .
For some reason we have some on the far left who does not want to understand that we have two sexes in this world, not one.
You do not bring a buy up as a girl and vica versa
I’m surprised that the boys in this class haven’t been taught castration and how to do it to themselves.
