Pretty much. I really do wish the Paulbots would go away though. Honestly, if the GOP became the party of Ron Paul, I’d leave it along with 80% of the party’s current supporters.

No, but it does show how a minority packs these off-year conservative gatherings. A more accurate poll was taken at our district caucus a few weeks ago which had Palin way out in front, with Romney and Huckabee tied for second, and Ron Paul, the Ernest T. Bass of politics, dead last with one single vote. And this is the NW where Ron Paul did better than average in the 08 election.
I love it when two loses battle over a meaningless straw poll and even more when ya stop to consider that Mitt and Ronald Paul think it means something...LOL.

Only 50% of all of the attendees voted. The Newt vote is the odd outlier but it meant that no one else on the list of current contenders is in the hunt.
