In an effort to build its credibility and influence nationwide, the tea party movement on Thursday announced the formation of a "federation" of tea party groups.
Mark Shroder, a member of the Memphis Tea Party, told a crowd of roughly 200 conservative activists gathered outside the state capitol that 21 factions of the movement will form the National Federation Tea Party. Shroder said the federation will act as a "rapid response" to "misinformation" allegedly put forth by the "mainstream media."

I will have to learn to photoshop the faces.
I’ve no idea how to do that! LOL
That’s why coordinating with other Tea Party and 912 groups is a good idea. We did do a radio (on two stations)ad that ran for 6 weeks with Glenn Beck. We had lots of new people attending because of the ad. Yep, money is needed to organize...you’re right.
Actually, it would be more appropriate for this to be a confederation, IMHO.
Mine too but it’s *so* not PC.
*shrug*
I’ll still fly the flag just because it pleases me to do so.....:)
Thanks for sharing, but I was referring to the organizational structure of being a confederation, rather than a federation.
Who put this guy in charge....Gezzz
I know.
[why do I always forget the sarcasm/just kidding tags?]
Wrong, I am the leader.
The federation?
Good God...Just what we need...a bunch of controlling home owners association types, jumping on the band wagon...
You are awesome!!!
Bless you...if this is legit. Trust but verify.
Hmm.
Oops, I just realized this is from a week ago. Maybe you’ve seen it already.
Agreed. A small rapid response team to dispel disinformation is a great idea..but calling it a Federation is going too far. Someone could use this to try and undermine the movement.
Silly rabbit...I’m the leader!
lol
It seems to me that FNC called it a “federation.” That could have been for dramatic effect. However, given the fact that O’Reilly and Jerry are still there...I don’t put anything past them. It’s all about profits, and I don’t begrudge them that.
Mark, the grand propaganda minister of the tea party...
