"The idea that a man like John McCain has to deal with a Bozo like J.D. Hayworth is really offensive," says former state attorney general Grant Woods. "To have just a caricature of the opportunistic, bombastic politician throwing grenades at him at this stage of his career is really a sad commentary. Someone needs to drive a wooden stake through this guy's heart."
Nice bunch, those McCain associates.
Another mean-spirited liberal. Liberals are a violent bunch. The FBI needs to investigate this threat.
Looks like the Maverick reached across the aisle once again...... to strangle the Republic, and the Republicans.
This doesn’t surprise me in the least that McCain’s people are not that much different than Clinton’s or Obama’s.
mclame just needs to retire and spend his remaining years with his gay loving wife and gay loving daughter.
Ok then.
Is that why Wood's Democratic Party pals have been launching fierce attacks on Sarah Palin for using a metaphor to fire up the base when she "targeted" the Democrats that voted for 0bamcare?
And is that why the lame-stream media, gave full rein to those attacks against Sarah Palin by accusing her of urging people to kill Democrats?
This was obviously hateful rhetoric, not a death threat. J.D. should not revert to hyperbole to make his point.
I see this article came from Newsweek, proof that McShame is back in the sack with his fair weather media friends. They’ll drop him like a hot potato soon enough.
Sarah Palin is pissing me off with each appearance she makes for McShame. If she plays a significant role in getting him the nomination, she will have lost my support, which was absolutely huge and unstoppable by anyone.....except Sarah herself.
Agree with you there but if he had done that I would have never heard about it.
Understood, but there was probably a way to get the statement out there without the apology request.
yeah you’re right about that.
JD’s response should be something to the effect of how Woods’ comments and snarky response are typical of the liberal wing of the GOP represented by McCain.
It’s always bettter when friends help you on your behalf so that you don’t need to speak up for yourself. The problem is that conservatives are swamped with problems to deal with.
You also have to factor in Hayworth’s family. He might have felt compelled to address someone’s “hyperbolic” fear. But I agree that the term “death threat” sounds melodramatic. If a loved one felt that way instead of Hayworth himself, he should clarify.
We have just experienced yet another ...

Mrs. GBC spent a couple of days with an aunt who hasn’t just drunk the kool-aid, she bathes in it. My wife tried to tell her about the healthcare bill and was told she needed to get better sources. My wife told her it came from Whitehouse.gov. Hahaha...
This is what the Rats hope... that conservatives will be enraged by their own frictions into not pursuing their rational self interest.
Aunt said "You're talking about a former vice president"
Mrs. GBC answered, "So?"
Before Obie Wan Nairobi was elected my wife was pretty much apolitical. I think she is representative of a growing number of people who no longer will stay silent and on the sidelines.
