The Tea Party Express came to Davenport, IA today (technically Bettendorf) and I WAS THERE! Great turnout, considering it was a weekday morning, and threatening rain all day. And the fact that the Quad Cities is a bastion of liberalism. News reports had us at 500 - 700, so that was excellent! A lot of enthusiasm, but well behaved, of course.
Ironically, this was held in a park named after our RINO ex-congressman Jim Leach.
Fortunately, it never did rain. Great speeches, great music, and LOTS of enthusiasm.
Will be posting some pics below.
Thanks very much.
Hehehehe. Good turnout. That is seven times more than Harry Reid got in his hometown.
Damn.
3 blocks from my office and I couldn’t get away.
Good local press coverage.
Beautiful, crisp photos of so may patriots and such a lovely setting too! Thank you, iowamomforfreedom!!!
Thanks Jim. The real folks here have had enough, and we are standing up for freedom. No more Socialism!
Me too. More local events are planned. We are growing in numbers, and in voices.
Glad to do it. I was so happy to finally be able to attend one of these. It was a great experience.
It’s a great thing...And we are also starting to be taken seriously...
Thanks! Happy to do it.
Thank you for the great report!
Yeah, poor Harry. I feel so sorry for him.
Well, no, not really.
Thanks onyx. Yes, we were right by the Mississippi. Would have been prettier with sunlight, but at least it didn’t rain.
Happy to do it. It was great.
Guess I missed the moonbat. I’m surprised there weren’t more.
The bridge is delightful and I love the lamps. I’ve lingered on your thread looking at you photos!
Must be that latest troll on FR needing attention because he got the Zot! and banned over here.
It is a pretty little park. Wish there had been some leaves on the trees though. They are just starting to bud here. I am SO over this winter!
