The article: “A Few Brave Men” is one that brings tears to my eyes - because our W was/is such a lover of freedom! He championed freedom throughout his Presidency and now we see how he continues to do to so by honoring these brave dissidents in assorted countries ruled by tyrants!

How awesome is that!

Oh.......I forgot to mention that to you.

I had an eye appointment and I'm still dilated, and in addition as I approach the end of the semester, my work at school has gotten pretty intense (especially since I was gone for four days), so I wasn't able to go.

I was thinking about trying to go to Cleveland, but we have people coming to see if they want to take daughter's cat off our hands, so the day got all filled up.

I really wish I could have gone (and if any Code Pink morons showed up, I'd have been yelling in their faces! :)

As you may remember from our encounter with those enviro-wackos in '04 at the Bush headquarters, I'm not afraid of a little confrontation with lefties (OR pseudo-cons either........not that there's much difference. ;)

I'm really sorry I missed meeting Karl..........but I'm happy I can finally SEE again!

FYI: The reason I liked this piece is because Brooks succinctly summarizes what I dislike about the current libertarian-oriented Tea Party movement: “. . . the SECULAR anti-government elements (e.g., the paleocons, Paulites, and neo-libertarians) have the upper hand and the social conservatives are dormant. [DrDeb: If the truth be known, Libertarians despise social conservatives — always have and always will! They also despise both the War on Terror and the President who chose to fight this war!]
