Thanks Deb ... might have to juggle some plans but will try to get there.
Thanks for heads up /ping. Great report & sounds like you had a wonderful time
I thought I should send a quick update on our son, Sam. So many of you sent messages after I first posted about his brain tumor. You assured me of your prayers and I do not take that lightly.
We spoke with the surgeon the other day who gave us a preliminary pathology report. We will get more detailed information when we go for an appointment in two weeks with the brain tumor clinic who will oversee his care from now on.
What we know now is that the the surgeon said "We couldn't have asked for a better report." :) His estimation is that there is a 90% chance that Sam will require no further treatment. He will, of course, undergo routine scans for quite some time (for which we are glad).
We are so grateful! Thank you so much for your prayers and kind messages. Sam is doing great physicially. He went to school every day last week---M and Tu he slept in and went about 11 but then Wed said he wanted to go for the full day--and did so the rest of the week. My dh took the staples out Friday night. The incision looks great. Our biggest issue is making sure that he is careful so his head doesn't get hit. :)
Thanks again for your kindness to me. If any of you want to see pictures or read his site, feel free to FReepmail me and I can give you the info.
Thank you so much! I just visited your FB again today to check on sweet Sam, and “this time” I left a message so you would know I was there. :)
I just wrote you a note on your page to thank you. I saw your comment a little bit ago. Thank you so much. :)
Praise be to God, our dear dear friend in time's of need and beyond that...a really good BFF ;-)
Thank you so much for sharing it here (haven't been to FB for days).
God is SOoooo GOOD!! All praise goes to HIM!
Thank you for rejoicing with us, ohioWfan! All praise does go to our Heavenly Father. We are most grateful!
We are so grateful to God for His care for Sam.
Thank you so much for sharing this incredible news with us . . . God is good!. . . And Sam looks GREAT!
Kids are just so resilient aren’t they?! Too bad we parents don’t bounce back quite as fast . . . I’ll keep you both in my prayers!
I can’t even imagine how grateful you are. Those little boys are precious to us Moms. :)
Everyone is amazed at how great Sam looks. The headmaster at the kids' school had some gum surgery the week after Sam's surgery. He has said to me a couple times that he feels a little silly at how much it took out of him compared to what Sam had done and how he is doing. I told him that the 50 year age difference really makes a difference in healing! :)
Amen. The big boys too. :) So glad you got to be there for Eric the other night!!
I don’t mean to belabor this at all, but I posted some pictures of x-rays of Sam’s head after the surgery. I think they are really interesting! They are on the FB album—but you don’t have to have FB to see it. LMK if you want the link.
I enjoyed all the photos including the one of the girl who got her braces removed...lol.
Praise the Lord that Sam has gotten a good prognosis and is gaining strength. Thanks for the update....I know, as a parent, you have been
so concerned and worried. (((hugs)))

Thank you DrDeb for the news, and dmd for the photo.
Wow, Wow, and Wow. Thank you both so much for taking the time to share with us. I absolutely loved your reports on our W’s speech and event.
He and Laura are amazing people, and Thank God they were in our White House when we needed them the most.
I will continue to pray for him and Laura as he has asked. He deserves our prayers and thanks for a job very well done.
