I switched all of my machines (8 of them) to bing when they disrespected Veteran’s Day last year. Bing is a better search engine mostly, IMO, and I do searches all day and all night. it sometimes does not catch really obscure searches or programming matters but those are really obscure.
That Bing search engine must be really pro-Christian because they have ducklings on their homepage for Easter. I bet they even featured Santa Claus and his reindeer on Christmas Day. Can’t get any more Christian than that!
IXquick, good on you !!!!
I thought I was almost all alone with IXquick.
What do daily operations have to do with his source of funds?
He still derives vast sums of money from Microsoft and a significant amount of those funds end up in support of progressive UN programs.
I try not to use either one - bing is a Microsoft product (Bill Gates has now drunk the Global Warming Kool-aid).
I use IXquick. Have passed it on to all my friends. They all love it. Used to use Dogpile, but IXQ is much mo better!
“Ixquick Protects Your Privacy !
The only search engine that does not record your IP address.
Your privacy is under attack !
Every time you use a regular search engine, your search data are recorded.
Your search terms, the time of your visit, the links you choose, your IP address and your User ID cookies all get stored in a database.
The identity profiles that can be constructed from this cloud of information represent modern day gold for marketers.
But government officials, hackers and even criminals also have an interest in getting their hands on your personal search data.
And sooner or later they will...”
I added it.
As usual, you're just making up another excuse to pimp for Microsoft.
> linked to make it easy Bing
Yeah, and how do Ballmer's naughty bits taste? or is that really you, Steve?
click on the boxes within the photo. It’s clearly giving info about easter.
Click on the boxes that give you factoids.
They symbolize the rebirth of Christ.
Click on the boxes on the page. They are clearly highlighting Easter and even explain the symbolism of the easter egg (which represents the rebirth of Christ).
Completley agree Bill Gates is off his rocker and is a big global warming nut too, but he really doesn’t have anything to do with Microsoft anymore. Also if we apply that logic I guess we’d have to shutdown all our computers because they all appear to have liberal overtones to them.
But at least Bing is honoring Christian holidays whereas Google gives them a slap in the face.
The Bill Gates foundation is NOT Microsoft.
The Bill Gates foundation is Bill Gate’s money and charity. Which Bill G has very little to do with Microsoft anymore. Look up who is Microsoft’s President and who is Microsoft’s CEO.
If you looked at the page and clicked on the callout boxes you would understand that the easter egg symbolizes rebirth of Christ. And those facts come directly from Bing. How many Christians even knew that? And now they do if they used Bing and clicked on the factoid boxes.
I have long been an MS hater but Bing wins this time.
Wow, so what Operating System are you using on your computer?
